All anbernic has to do is shop for wholesale old chips and screens lol. It’s not like they are optimizing for new content just improving the old to run slightly better with different form factors. Brilliant actually. Have one myself and love it.

And just when I told myself I'm not purchasing anymore handhelds for a long time. They release this stylish looking RG406V. Got to be honest, the Gray RG406V with the colorful buttons looks quite nice! I just may have to pick that one up.
I still have my Woodgrain 405V, but this looks interesting! I like my 405V mainly because of the huge battery, larger display and the set of down firing stereo speakers.

If we could get this chip in 4:3 with 6 face buttons and 2 hall sticks on the bottom, i couldn't ask for more. 3ds would look amazing in tate mode and can play everything else 4:3
What we need is an RG556 successor with possibly the latest android chipset with a good hall effect triggers, a good quality screen or a dual sdcard slot

If this use the same analog sticks of the rg cube, then you need to push an update on both devices since their calibration is awful on the rg cube, please update asap
Swap dpad and left analog then we are talking, and please fix the chassis problem of the rg cube, it's your best handheld yet, the wifi antenna and its slot push against the screen making it bleeding
Seems a little redundant when the RG405V exists, and also considering Anbernic just released a vertical device with the RG40XX V. It would only be worth upgrading if it had a stronger chipset or OLED screen. I'm waiting for a vertical version of the RG Cube, or an upgraded version of the RG405M with a plastic shell.
Is it true that Anberbic consoles have been withdrawn from sale in Europe due to high lead content in their solders? It would be good if an official statement was issued on the matter.

I have a launch 405V and it has some issues. The biggest issue is very weak wifi. I'm not a fan of how heavy it is either. It's going to take some convincing and a very good price.
Please make an updated version of the rg-arc with better chipset. And would be cool if you start making your consoles red or green, yellow, better and more vibrant colors...

@@albertosaldivar2934 hey dude let me tell you that I bought a red RGB 30 out of just curiosity to see what the hype was about and it has to my great surprise became my most used, and potentially one of my favorite handhelds ever especially after I took Russ's suggestions on putting SNES in 8/7 and using integer scale over scale

Colours are disappointing, really like the blue 40xxv, green is ideal ;) Not sure the T820 is enough, the Retroid Mini with SD 865 might be the better pick. They also have better colours :)

The processor has to be stronger than a Unisoc T820 in order to easily support PS2 games.
It uses a T820. Going to have to go with the Retroid Mini or RP5 to get PS2 support for most games.
That Dpad looks like the one from 40xxV, I hope you stick with that and I hope you fix the joystick.

Is there screen sharpening? How loud back buttons are? Is there thumbstick cardinal snapping? These are crucial for me as a customer.

It's a T820 chip , Its better than the one in the 405V. It can do all GC and Wii library and about 80% of PS2
