    This has to be one of the most well thought out Broncos I’ve seen. They didn’t overlook anything with this rig other than May the rear view camera. Wow I’m just blown away. If I were to come into some money this is one of the first places I’d be spending it.

    I just watched Logan and they were driving what looked like an early 70's Bronco. My first thought was, "that thing would look great if ICON got their hands on it." Lo and behold, later that night, this video is posted. This truck is beautiful.

    Yet another bad ass mean looking ICON Bronco that people will be afraid to touch, stand next to, or make eye contact with the owner as he climbs in from getting milk from the store..

    I really like what you're doing with these and other 4x4's
    In the age of autonomous vehicles and electric cars, there is a real need to preserve the old stuff to enjoy from a nostalgia standpoint.
    You are not only preserving it, you are improving it

    Love the new format of video, and very much appreciate the extra effort it must have taken to produce. I know you can't do it with a customer car, but every time I see that concrete pad you filmed the start of the video on, I'd love to see a vehicle tackle those steps up or down... :)

    Such a clean design and you leave the antenna? I deleted the antenna on my Suburban, replaced it with an internal powered antenna and filled/painted the hole left behind and it looks way cleaner. Reception remains the same.

    Truck is impressive. The drone footage is a little bit fiddly, just constant sweep will make it look more like helicopter footage which is what the eye expects

    Beautiful Bronco as usual. Personally, I can't imagine ordering all this lovely stuff with that performance and then asking for an automatic trans. In my mind it just doesn't make sense. I would want to be as connected as possible to this excellent machine. Maybe the customer has a bad left leg.

    That's a badass grill guys and all that work to make it is insane. I've been making some machine cut parts and it's so cool what the possibilities are. My only critique is the shape of the edges of the grill. Super sexy build tho guys. Ton of small details most people can't grasp the time that goes into design..

    I have to think after all of your fantastic and very expensive work what will it get used for probably going to the shops and letting everyone ogle its a shame really it must be upsetting that after all of your work it will just end up as a toy for a rich guy to show off to his friends.

    I will never understand why anyone likes black interiors. None of the people buying these things must live in places where it gets above 80*F, otherwise they would understand that black burns like hell during the middle of summer.

    your usual great vid... maybe I missed it at some point but does WEIGHT get some thought in the build process??? it would be quite the challenge to maintain factory weight while upgrading modern stuff to a Bronco... I'm guessing you add 750 plus pounds.....

  • @richfromrhodeisland1291
    @richfromrhodeisland1291 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    In the early 80s I bought a '68 Bronco took it down to the frame and rebuilt it. For the next ten years I did just about everything with that vehicle. From tooling around Yellowstone where I bought it, to partying at the Mint 400, to Yosemite, then Hawaii and eventually to New England where I sold it. I came across your site as I was looking for a Bronco that I could share with my son.
    You've designed the ultimate go anywhere, do anything vehicle that can be enjoyed by multiple generations. You have thought of everything. Well nearly everything. May I suggest a couple of options you may want to consider for the true Bronco nut like myself.
    First, create an option that allows the backseat to convert into a makeshift bed for those days when you are having so much fun you don't want to, or, can't drive home. 2) Add a PTO off the transmission. With that Coyote engine and automatic transmission one could easily run a small generator or hydraulic equipment off the powertrain without stressing it. A PTO would allow owners to power their homes in an emergency, enjoy a wilderness retreat in comfort, or even build a retreat including digging the foundation and milling wood. 3) Create a still for water purification and/or hot showers that runs off the engine cooling system. Many a trip has been cut short for lack of water and showers. With this huge "power plant" installed under the hood, you could design a remote water heating system that attaches using quick connects faster and easier than it took to design the stainless steel door handles and sideview mirrors, which by-the-way I love.
    These are small suggestions for adding the kind of versatility that guys like me fell in love with and ICON is bringing back.

  • @garystinten9339
    @garystinten9339 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Please do an AWD Ford Festiva.
    Would be an awesome people mover.. and no tunnel with a full update of interior such as an MCU but the same 80s style asthetic.. no tree shifter.. floor shifter.
    I bet a complete pack from an s or a model 3 could easily make over 600kms.
    I wouldn't complain if other hatchbacks were also done too like Honda civics or maybe a gremlin.. any hatchback really

What a natural fit, Ward has been a car and watch guy from his youth. Watches and cars just go together like ice cream and root beer, pizza and pepperoni, squirrels and nuts.
