    Didn't know you had become a cartel pilot. I guess you gotta pay for those MSFS addons somehow. Hehehe...

    If you create the flight plan in little nav map and save it as IFR instead of VFR, it gets rid of those annoying random TIME CLIMB and TIME APPROACH automatically generated waypoints. Cool vid- I’ve never thought to fly around the Mexico border, will add it to my list!

    A very fun and fascinating flight, ty. Being from San Diego, I've done a fair amount of travel in Mexico, however not by GA. Been to San Felipe and the area really does look like that. Brings back some memories.

    One intimidating skill is crabbing, and smooth touch down in challenging winds. Sorry about the 747, I don't get my hands on one to often and weed is legal here. It is a great way to see the landscape and people can see you wave at them better. Mexico is a great place to warm up. May be not dry out? Great choice of landscape to visit.

    I'm not sure what you use for creating your videos, but the volume output is "always" low compared to all other media files I listen to. Where my Klipsch speaker settings are set, I have windows set at 50%, this is where I listen to media, and game with everything. In order to watch your videos I have to turn up windows to 80% to equal the volume (dba) of everything else.

    • @AvAngel
      @AvAngel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I EQ my content to be 'correct' and not peak, that may seem low compared to others, but I try to manage my sound carefully. I use sony Vegas, which lets me actually monitor sound levels and ensure things don't sound awful.

    I love Mexico, stunning scenery, rich diverse history, great people and great flying. We used to run ashore there and we had a bang on time, great memories. I took Cabbage (military nicknames, I know) up on his first flight in a light aircraft, he wasn’t best pleased with the whole experience of course we ripped him for years after about that. (His nickname even got reworked to green cabbage in honour of the colour he turned in a tiny bit of turbulence)
    Rachael, you should know that with cis straight men when they encounter a woman gushing it confuses and bewilders them and they don’t know what to do so they complain it’s too much. Queer girls like me never ever complain about a woman gushing 😜
    Those airports were absolutely amazing and for free, that’s incredible they look like pay ware scenery. You have to have mad respect for people that talented that don’t want to be paid and do it for the love of the game and the community
    Great video as a former Bootneck and a paramedic I share your sense of humour and I’m sure as ex army yourself you can decode what I was saying above

    How do you rate the Seminole? Very amusing video otherwise.
    If they add military planes, yeah Spitfire would probably be it for England. Considering how important they were in the defence of Britain. I kind of suspect they might go for dual purpose rather than straight military though. Thankfully a lot of the planes in the 40s through 60s were dual purpose.
    I'd love if they'd do a blimp or zeppelin. My god that'd be awesome.

    • @AvAngel
      @AvAngel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    There actually is plenty of *legitimate* flying-for-profit flying in Mexico. Much of the narco trafficking changed to road-transport in the 90's when USCS and Coast Guard began using more sophisticated surveillance equipment. It's rare to see any narcotics transported by air anymore. So maybe you are flying in 1981 or so.
