That's not wise, what if you want to clean partition C and do a clean install. The second partition is better. In fact, I make a separate partition for my DATA and put windows on the other.

i have a pc with a burnt hdd that was originally my boot drive, im trying to make my secondary ssd my new boot drive from my friends pc will the second method work if i dont complete the windows 10 set up fully ?
the second option does not work for me followed everything but when i choose to boot from another existing system and click NST WinPE Image it just starts my windows as usual does not start the installation proccess

Just going to buy a flash drive. Tried this but when I change my boot option to my SSD after all the steps it says there isn’t a operating system on it.

lmmfao go get it from a torrent file and install it for free with a lic and no it wont show the activate window as long as you know wtf you are doing lol if you have to buy a lic do it from one of microsoft's legit secondary sales, it is about 20 % the normal price and yes if you must pay thats worth it orrrrr borrow a friends cd and copy it trust me ms wont give a crap this is like 15 yr old news sorry if it was 10 yrs ago id say uh ok lol
I tried the second method to convert my 32 bit pc to 64 bit..... Amazingly I got it successfully. But my suggestion is to after converting by this method, please reinstall the windows from the original Microsoft 64 bit windows.

Quick tip: if you are already using windows 10 there's no need to download daemon tools. Rather than that, excellent tutorial.

or if you want to dual boot just install in another disk (not main dis for system)

In order to install ferst fresh ms win os you must have preinstalled windows os on your hdd and follow instructions.

I normally extract the iso the double click the setup and continue without using the daemon tool.

This only works on MBR disk.
I was allowed to do it on uefi gpt (at least the second method)
