I give all the details about its specs like engine capacity, power, torque, ground clearance, fuel tank capacity, seat height, etc.

I took this bike, after seeing the review, absolutely loving the ride.. However the mileage I get in city traffic is approx 32 kmpl and in highways (during long rides) it is about 38 kmpl.. No complaints though, ride quality is just amazing

I want to buy bike for daily use of 60km and monthly once for long ride of 300-400km.which bike is best?

Hy Dino.. this is Colin again.. Love your reviews and watch them all as it keeps coming .. I happen to own a Hyosung GT 650R and used to own RX 100's ..around 18 of them over a period of time and also rode a yamaha 350 R back in the day.. The reason have mentioned this is that i plan to go for this bike .. the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220.. Am kinda wondering if any new model is out for launch in the near future.. Also i thought some of these includes could make a difference on this already well tuned bike.
1. projector headlamps
2. inverted shocks
3. led turn indicators
4. Fuel ignition
5. Tubeless Tyre
6. Mag wheels
7. Disc brakes at the rear.. To mention a few..

I am confused. Honda Hornet has Tubeless tyres and dual disc brakes which are important. This one have better styling with less safety features.

I liked cruise model more than street. My only fear is rusting of chrome. Dino, I stay in Mumbai so will rusting be an issue even if I maintain the chrome and take care in rainy season.

Dino... you are awesome. I went to check out this bike in two showrooms. The sad part was that salesmen gave hardly any informtion and seems lack of interest in the product. Also, one can't get test ride. They simply say no to it. Your detail review helps in taking decision. I am still confused either to go with Desert Gold or Black? Your reply would certainly help.

Hi Buddy.. Must say u d doing wonderful job providing detailed review... Actually need one suggestion.. I am confuse between Street 150 and Bajaj V15..
Bajaj service center, Hyderabad - mechanic with limited knowledge. They know some specific works which is under "typical bike servicing" and some external minor spare replacement. Well, even if u tell them an issue and if that is not within there "typical bike servicing" list, they can't/don't do the job - don't even try..
For example, I took one of my bikes, Avenger 220 for servicing. For some reason the bike's front suspension was making noise (Feels like friction inside the fork). When I asked them to check, they said its usual in this bike. Also, I wanted to set rear suspension to a softener setting for more comfortable ride. They said, "It's not possible in this bike". I asked to check rear drum as the break seems to has less bite and stopping ability. The mechanic replied, "Why should I check rear drum in 1st service" --- Why not dear mechanic, if there is a problem? Is Bajaj so confident that there won't be any problem in the rear drum upto 2nd-3rd service?
I've been ridding for around 10 years, faced such issues in the past, so I had some ideas to fix. I opened the front fork, found the fork oil quantity was less (as per the manual). Though, it shouldn't have happened in a new bike, but I can consider this as human mistake, it can happen - not a big deal. However, refilled the oil as per requirement, no more noise. And for the rear suspension, the adjustable liver is visible without much efforts, just took a suspension spanner, rotate to take it to softener setting - as per my comfort. Also, tightened the adjustable spring nut of the rear drum - getting better bite and stopping ability but will have to change the break shoes in some days -- NOT FROM BAJAJ SERVICE CENTER ANYMORE- may be from a local garage or self-service.
The point is that the type of issues I had with my bike were easy fix and mechanics working under such a big brand - BAJAJ, should be able to predict such fixes.
I have bought Cruise 220 last week . What tips should I follow to maintain the new Engine ? Now mileage is giving around 20 KMPL . What should current Race level and others to follow for long lasting engine

hey man, praise the Lord, thanks a lot for your encouraging words. I will try and get it done when possible. Yes prices have been slashed. ER6N here in Hyd costs 5.4 lacs and the ninja 650 costs around 5.6 on road.

Hi V15 rider. I am 5'5''/ 60 kg . Currently i am using Bajaj pulsar 135 . I feel that bike has more height and its very difficult for me to handle the bike in bangalore's traffic with pillion rider because i cant put both of my legs on road at the same time. I am planning to buy a short bike. What do you think which one i should buy. I have two choices 1. Avenger 150 2. V15. Which is better in ur openion

DIno's Vault. Buddy just want to know on what basis RTO charges are fixed for a bike.
For Avenger Cruise 220 the RTO charge is mentioned as Rs. 13000 and for Renegade Commando the RTO charge is mentioned
as Rs. 36,000 !!!! What might be the reason for this huge charge difference?

Hi Dino, I am 6 ft tall and I am stuck btw 220 street and cruise. I love the matte black colour of street and not a huge chrome lover. am much of a city rider and hardly goes highway trips. I am just worried if the street would be comfortable for my height or should I go for the cruise for the handlebar it offers?

I have a avenger 220 street and my query is that can I install the back rest of 220 cruise ,is it compatible ? Cause when I asked the people from bajaj showroom they replied that the backrest of 220 cruise will be ordered on demand and they are not sure about the compatibility. Kindly help.

Yes, we can cruise at 80 kmph easily but there is a hint of vibration on the Cruise 220 when compared to Street 220, which is very smooth.

iam facing an issue with my Avenger Street.. byk dosent maintain a straight line while driving..ie - sometime if we drive through a small stone n road or the boarder lines on the road even the small damages in the roads changes my driving direction, the byk pushes itself to sides either left or ryt..
any can help with this ??

always on headlights means there is no headlamp starting switch on your bike it will get turned on as soon as you start the bike weather day or night it will be on continuously, you can find this features on highend branded bikes.

Cruise wins the price battle, TB 350 has a stronger character and a rich legacy of the RE brand. Highway stability would be better on TB 350 with larger 18 inch wheels, but Cruise offers unbelievable value for money.
