cons: no kickstart, so when u do cold start bike will not start only option to jump start is u have to run along with bike n start , otherwise u ll feel the bike like god

@@ThePravint yes the chrome fit will make the bike more classic and stylish and build quality is good at this range, if u prefer comfort as high priority go n buy without second thought, clutch and gear will be more smoothy and u have abs feature

Hi Dino.. amazing review..have couple of questions-
1. why bajaj hasnt provided rear disc brake and tubless tyre(in cruise version)?? has this got anything to do with bike's design or spoke wheels?
2. some people have complained about skidding of bike. Is it really a worry if we plan to ride in the range of 50-90km/hr?

Actually the DRLs idea was adopted from TVS and as far as I know the first one i have watched is TVS XL. Right from the start, the BS4 model of TVS XL has beautiful and brighter Led strip unit.
Hope to see this in all Pulsars and in all bikes.
The AHO features stresses the stator coil for extracting power, stresses the rectifier for continuous ac to dc conversion, there will be more battery recharge cycles there by change in life of battery.
One can feel the heat in stator area(near gear lever) and Rectifier/Regulator gets really hot by continuous AHO system.
Also the engine will have stress to produce power continuously.
This is the main cause for switching to led drls.
They will almost very less power and one can forget about it. :)

Apoorv1531 Yes bro.. All TVS vehicles are fitted with good LED drls.
Continuous AHO effects battery and others in Full DC bikes pulsar etc.
But in AC/DC bikes like Hornet, Unicorn etc the engine takes the load directly.
And also the headlight assembly, reflector life reduces significantly and they are not cheap and costs above RS1000.
All vehicle manufacturers should come with the same led DRLs. Though in Bajaj, Dominar has it, they did not implement it in CT100, Pulsars range etc. But now slowly they have introduced it in Platina recently and now introduced in these Avengers.
i know but for a mainstream motorcycle, avenger has taken the call first.

Hi Dino, thanks for 2018 model review, also thanks to Suzuki intruder for fueling the competitive spirit, 😁 seriously the fresh lights and digital console favor avenger over it's rival. but but !! the cost cut attitude from Bajaj for depriving FLG cult with an ABS is not fair.. at least as an option!! every one wants safety first kada...

Have driven my avenger 18000 KM.now facing one problem that on running my byk is getting off.and don't start till I open the fuel tank lock. Washed the tank and the tank lock cap from service centre but problem not solved.what can I do now?

On all the previous 2 bikes i have driven them at speeds of 120 on the first day.... Whats the speed limit that i shuld not cross on a new bike..... Gussing there is a limit up to some km... Not sure

With the time BAJAJ is missing out reaching a completely different class of cruisers who looks for a bit of performance. Bajaj its a humble request please make another variant of avenger that can cruise effortlessly at around 110 kmph speed, full ABS, Both disk. Vibration free and huge torque blast at 2500/3000~6000 rpm engine. Pls Bajaj.
