The hardest part of working on the newer vehicles is finding all the connection points, you did a great job at showing how to get to them. I may have to re-watch this video when it's time to replace the lights on my Honda CR-Z. Great video, Thanks for sharing it Barry!

I've had my 2007 Honda Fit Sport (the classic blue and not faded anywhere) since 2019 and the fog lights have never worked. I have to replace the headlights now so I will go ahead and replace the fog lights at the same time and, thanks to this video, now I know how. Thanks a lot! EDIT: sadly, that fog light link is no good.

I would’ve taken care of those cloudy headlight covers while I was at it

man, that is a ton of effort with modern vehicles to change a bulb. I believe this is all part of manufacturers forcing people back into the dealership for something we used to do ourselves. reminds me of something I read " old car manuals showed you how to adjust the valve lash, new manuals tell you not to drink the antifreeze.

Very helpful! This made changing my headlights go very smooth.

These headlamps are th same used on motorcycles. Gloves have residue too. Freehand and if you touch the bulb, use alcohol to clean.

The shortcut to replacing the headlight bulbs is to turn the wheel, remove the wheel arch, take out and replace the bulb🤷🏾‍♂️I have a automatic AWD 07 FIT

@Willow Rose I might k swap it but it's really good on gas thinking about adding a turbo as well to the stock engine, since it can manage about 10lbs or is 15lbs, of boost that's about 170mph not the fastest but fun, but I'm not sure if it's possible since it's not the sport version where you can change the automatic gears, 🤷🏾‍♂️

Get and try some insect spray which contains DEET and using it on a clean lint free rag, then wiping and rubbing it on the headlamp lenses, will remove the foggy headlamp oxidation, without using sand paper. I am sure there are youtube videos showing how to do it. The DEET seems to melt the surface and thereby you are able to rub away the foggy oxidation, and get back a clean and shiny surface restoration.

About a month ago I purchased a red 2008 Honda fit sport of my own from 78-year-old man who only put 70,000 miles on it. I love the car and expect it to be reliable but damn do I hate it’s faded red (pink) pair job.

They are great little cars. I love driving mine. I would probably get another one if something happened to this one. The paint though...

What brand are those fog lights? Your Amazon link doesn't take me to the product page. Thanks!

Is it possible to align the fog light beam? Do i simply tighten or loosen the screw with the spring?

So did you get rid of your Fiesta?
Honda's are a good choice for longevity, if not abused they will last a long time. Really a budget friendly ride IMO.
I saw one of the posts about your headlights being yellow. I've had the same issue with some of my headlights over the years and I've just sanded them out with 400-1500 paper then buffed them out and they look like new.
Also, you always have the option of reclearing them after the fact.
And it's always inevitable for me that the whole plastic grille has to come off just to change headlights too 🥺
My wife car is a 2014 Edge and when we first got the car (used) driving at night we couldn't even tell that the headlights were even on. I bought some LASFIT bulbs off Ebay for around $50 and it made a huge difference in actually seeing the road. But I still have an issue seeing the left side of the road at night while driving, I can clearly see the right side has a wider field of view whereas the left side is missing that and both of the lower fog lights are on as well. So I'm not sure if it's a fisheye headlamp problem or there's something wrong with the whole headlamp assembly 🤔
As always, great information for the DIY'ers 👌👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

It was a Focus, and I sold it. The headlights do need attention. I just wanted everything working for now. I know the fog lights made a world of difference while driving. I may even plastikote this car. Not a fan of red, but the price was too good.
