I'm so happy this card struck a chord with everyone. Religious cards can be tricky, but this die is really lovely and a great addition. Thank you for sharing and for watching. I really appreciate it.😊❤️
I love purple too! I’m glad you liked the card. Thank you so much! When I was putting the video together, the songs just seemed to fit together; Silent Night, Away in a Manger, It Came upon a midnight Clear... they seemed appropriate for the card. One of my favorite religious Christmas songs is, Mary, Did you know? I know it gets criticism, but I've always found it to be lovely.
Your template key idea is fabulous! I, too, get frustrated when the die pairings don't make sense. I love this idea for keeping all the pieces straight. Thank you for sharing!
It’s really a pleasure to share things I hope can help others! I'm glad this tip can come in handy. 😊 thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I appreciate it!
So, I was busy admiring your ABSOLUTELY STUNNING card and listening to your story of ordering dies only to realize it would be overwhelming to use them. Then BAM! The screen had switched to a myriad of die cut pieces, and I then knew EXACTLY what you were describing in your story because my head exploded. But of course, you saved the day by showing how to make a template and I was able to calm down by the time the video ended. 🤣 Fantastic color choices! I love the modern take on this. You outdid yourself!!! 🩷👍
Thank you! I'm so glad that the template was helpful, and I can definitely relate to that feeling! Some creators make it look so easy when, in fact, it's more involved. I know myself, and if it's too difficult, it's not getting done. With the key, I know I'm more likely to use it and not feel guilty about getting the set in the first place. Layering stamps are another similar for me, too.
Favorite card in this series for me! Purple is the color of Advent, which begins tomorrow, so it's perfect!!! Your key is so smart....reminded me of color by number or like you said, a puzzle! That is what I need, I get stumped with lots of pieces. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous card and all of your tips!
Aww, thank you. Purple is the color Advent. It wasn't my intention, but I'm glad you made the connection. That is such a great way to describe it - paint by numbers. It definitely simplifies the die visually - at least for me - so I can break it down into manageable pieces. I hope you give it a try and it works for you too 😊❤️
Another gorgeous card. I love the purple. It is just stunning. Die cutting can for sure be time consuming & frustrating. But it’s so satisfying when all of those pieces come together & we have an amazing focal piece. And this card just shows that so well. Really a beautiful card! So glad you shared this die in your series.
I love this!!! It's hard to find the right images for Christmas cards for my friends in faith. Thank you for sharing this. This image is elegant and truly beautiful. I love your use of colour, too. Oh, and you've made great use of that stencil. I will be on the lookout for it! Big hearts!!! Thank you!!
Oh I am so glad! I completely agree! Religious images are really hard to come by. I find them to either be clunky or a a bit juvenile - which I don't necessarily mind, but not for everyone. This one really jumped out at me. It's just so sophisticated and honestly, beautiful. I just mentioned in another comment that whoever designed it, did a marvelous job. The stencil is one of my favorite this year too - I completely recommend!
Thanks. I agree, it's a really lovely die. They did an amazing job designing it, and it's my favorite addition to my collection. I'm so glad you like it too😊
Thank you. You know, I blame Yana over on Spellbinder's for my notions of grandeur when it comes to die cutting and piecing 🤣. Every time I see her make something and she does it it so it look so gosh darn easy, I think to myself "I can do that!" Then, I get the darn thing and I know I must have been drunk to think I could make it in the first place, because that can only be the explanation - BUT I don't even drink! Therefore, I'm just must be out of my mind. 😊😂🤣
Thank you. Out of my recent purchase, this die was a favorite. It's just so sophisticated in an understated way. I am very happy you liked this one! Have a wonderful week!
Thank you very much. That's a huge compliment, and I'm so glad this card was received so well. Religious cards are hard to come by, and so are the supplies. This die was beautifully designed, and I wish more come out like it. Thank you for taking the time and leaving me your note. I very much appreciated it.
Thank you for the kind words! I'm happy that it's helpful! I agree about the map, and the creators on some of these sites make it seem like you can just jump into the crafting vehicle without a map or GPS. I like to think that there's more than just one road to the destination, but you don't have to take the scenic route every time. 😉 😆😂🤣❤️
Stunning! Yes, very regal. The dark purple is just incredible with that nativity set. And the gold stars set it off. I've so enjoyed your series, but it went too fast. Much like life.
Aww, thank you. That is very sweet. This was a favorite of mine when it comes to newer supplies. Whoever designed this die did an amazing job. I love doing these series. It keeps me on my toes, but my husband HATES it. I know he's always glad to see me done with it because according to him, I abandon him 😊😂🤣. It's an on going joke when the time comes around. I'm actually flattered that he likes me so much that he wants me around 😊.
Ok this one is definitely my favorite!! I love the Nativity. Jesus is the reason for the season ❤❤❤❤

So pretty! Purple my favorite color, Away in a Manger my favorite carol. Both together - stunning! Thank you for sharing!

@@handmadebylubomira Yes! Three layers of stamps are usually my max. 😊
Oh my!! This is so beautiful. The color is superb. I love this card so much.

WOW!!! So lovely and elegant!! I also have done the same thing!! I get the die and say nope!! Creating a template is an awesome idea!!

So happy to see a card with the real reason for Christmas.

What a beautiful card! Your method of creating a template for piecing this together is ingenious! I know some dies need a map to put them together 😉💕
