Yes, there are quite a few "debates". I am so glad this card had such a positive impact. You are completely right about it's versatility and I think it's actually pretty gender neutral, depending on the color. Someone else mentioned making it into a set of various occasion cards - which I love that idea. Thank you so much for the bow tip. Do you find that it works for all kinds of sting and ribbon? I've noticed baker's twine, because it has the two stings twirled around each other, it can be a little finicky. I use the "rabbit ears" pretty much for everything else - I find it to be the easiest method to teach kids with to tie shoes. Thank you so much for another lovely comment. ​@@handmadebylubomira Ooh, a note card set would be lovely. And yes! Gender neutral for sure! I do use the bunny ears for twine as well as ribbon. It's easier for me to get loops that lay flatter and are parallel to each other. If I'm adding a decorative bow, I don't tie an initial single knot - I just tie the two loops to create one knot. If I am securing something with tension (shoes, packages, etc.) or the ribbon is very unwieldy, I tie a single knot first, then make loops to tie together, which creates a second knot. I've been doing it so long that I don't really think about it. 😂 Everyone has their own way that they're comfortable with, so whatever works for them, then that's the way to do it! I love simple card too. Funny though that sometimes I have the hardest time actually putting them together. Embossing with stencil just gives you more options and you can still use the stencil as intended over the raised surface too, which gives it that extra special touch! My husband is just corky like that and I was curious to see if anyone had a similar experience. The jeans will come out soon since we're getting into cooler weather, but I'm sure he'll find ways to match lol. Thank you so much for always being so kind in your comments. Oh my goodness, my husband LOVES symmetrical things, too. There's a car out there, I don't remember what make or model, but it's license plate holder is designed to be off-center on the trunk. If we happen to get behind one of these cars he'll get fixated on the plate, "Who designs these things?" "What's wrong with these people that made this car? That doesn't even look good..." You are so right. There are pros and cons to every supply. Having the original die definitely cuts down on time and effort, as you mentioned, being in one piece. It all comes down to what is best for the crafter and preference, really. It's nice to have options. You're also very right about gluing individual pieces directly to the base, which would also be very pretty. The best part of crafting is that there are so many ways to get similar results. I have three bins that I place on a floating shelf, and I seriously think I may have to move them because the shelf seems to be buckling under the weight. Adding to them, I'm sure, will not help matters, lol.

At the end of the day, only store bought cards have a price printed on the back of them :). Purple is one of my favorite colors too. This one is also a fun design to fall back on when you're low on creative energy - which I suffer from more often than you'd think. Just grab a word, "JOY" "HAPPY" "MERRY" ... and stamp it out a few times in whatever colors and before you know it, your imagination will kick in. You'd be amazed at what you can come up with. @@JH-wd7ul How fun! Depending how playful or serious you want to go you can add the puns like "hey pumpkin" or "from our pumpkin patch to yours"... I could go on for hours. The word technique is honestly one of my favorite go to styles because the rest of the card just falls into place

We are our own worst critics and we should definitely extend that kindness to ourselves as much as others. My husband has rescued discarded projects from the trash many times I'm afraid. He tells me I'm crazy, which I probably am, when he asks me what was wrong with a rejected creation. It's a work in progress not to be so hard on ourselves. Thank you. Yes, these can be a little tricky to use. They are very soft so smooshing them too hard is easy and I must say I just use them in the traditional sense so I can't vouch for gelli uses. I'm not sure what you're having trouble with but if it's with clarity, try not to press so hard. I know this may sound crazy, but a little trick I use for those really soft stamps that give me trouble, I'll put them in the freezer. This is temporary and you have to work quickly, but I find that cooling the stamps can firm them up just a tad. As always, thank you for leaving such a great comment. Thank you. You're always so sweet in your comments. Funny you should mention getting the second set, it took me a few projects to actually come up with that idea. It was one of those, "why didn't I think of this sooner" moments. I guarantee you'll look at these stamps very differently and reach for them more often. If other sets weren't more expensive, I'd recommend it for all alphabet stamps. Something to think about when sales and clearances come around :)

Thank you. I absolutely know what labels you are talking about. My library used them on the card catalogue and filing system way back - do they even use the Dewey Decimal System still? You are so right, they do have the same style. I love Tim Holtz and how his things have that effortless effort thing going for them. There are just some people out there that make things look so easy and he's definitely one of them. I have to admit that it didn't occur to me to get multiple sets until several project in, so you're mind is definitely greater than mine, but I'm glad to have caught up, at least in this aspect :)

Oh, no! I'm sorry to hear that. The magnet I have on mine is about 1/8 of an inch - but I'm not sure if it's the original one that came with the precision press or not. I just can't remember if I had to replace it on this platform since I've used different ones in my crafting. I've noticed that most replacement magnets are about 2mm. I hope that helps.
