Reminder that that huge thing is just a swarm mother and Ruan Mei tried to resurrect the fucking emenator. Which can use it's death ray to destroy planets and turn the fragments into incubators for the swarm(which also incubate swarm mothers I think).
Well, no. You are taking it out of context, since she wanted to study it to better understand emenators and Aeons. Same thing that Lloyd, Herta and Screwllum are trying to do, her methods may be unethical to some small extent but she never wished to revive and emanator to endanger humanity. She even said herself that she has the means to destroy it if anything happens, and considering Genius Society has the best scientists in the whole galaxy, you better trust them if they say they have the power to do something that you wouldn't believe.

the queen Titania lore are pretty tragic, she ended up figuring everything out and try to rebel but she probably get killed or replaced, the glamoth cavalry lore explained what happen after, all the corpse of the fireflies and the swarm gather together forming a ring covering the planet.
-All the people knew was that the Iron Cavalry gave their all for the non-existent "empire." After decades of bloody battles, the remains of mechas and insect limbs turned into dense debris strewn throughout Glamoth's star system, connecting with each other to form a "River of Death." When the remnants of the Swarm no longer posed a threat and the leaders of the council rang the bell of peace, informing the citizens that they had dispelled the apocalypse that clouded the heavens and the republic would be ushered back into the light of day - What arrived was not daylight, but the beginning of another sunless night.

According to welt in the keeping up with star rail for firefly, her green Sam is unique to her, the power comes from a path, which path? we don't really know.
abundance? did it came from Yaoshi? that tree blooms kinda is the hint? so its like the tree gave our firefly 1 more super power up to transform and destroy?
@@kmitsu2319 it heavily depends on the timeline. yaoshi had yet to even exist during the swarm disaster, so unless this animation was long after the swarm was declared to be over, i doubt it.

@@sauciine If I remember correctly the event in the animation was happen after Aeon of Propagate died for quite sometime, due to Iron cavalry's purpose is to fight the swarm that was left then it can interpret that Yaoshi was already exist at that time

@@topthchi mean, what do you expecting from the hoyoverse fanbase? other than a lore seeker (a non skipping story, like to hear and really memorizing the lore), most of them are brainless. if the visual is good, they like it. if the mecanism of the character is good, they like it. it's just that is the matter for them. they don't interested or paying attention to the lore. and that is their freedom to choose, it is a game for fun after all. but i just feeling poor for the story and lore writter in hoyo company

She is searching for the meaning of life and pursuing ways to defy fate as a war machine for the fallen Glamoth empire. She needs to join the path of the nameless (trailblazing) to gain life's happiness and change her fate.

miHoyo anime is their own studio WAY BEFORE HSR. Pretty sure they used it to produce trailers and cutscenes for Honkai Impact 3rd
The fact that the first time i saw SAM on kafka animation trailer i thought that sam is just some robot or a guy in suit probably a tall and good looking guy inside you know very generic. I'm not really hype for SAM until we dive on PEAKnacony story and now this? Holly!! ..
i have a theory that the end of the trailer she was blessed by the aeon of abundance which helped to unlock more potential in her armor. Afterall the paths that the characers follow in the game are not necessarily their actual paths....example argenti among others.

nah we need ruan mei to redeem herself by healing firefly's ELS. shes an expert in genetics especially when it comes to the swarm and iirc glamoth iron calvary uses genetics from the storm to create the firefly units
Firefly’s model can’t actually blow the planet up. Rather the Complete Combustion State is something Firefly was only able to achieve once she started questioning and searching for the value of her life. As Welt said, the CC State was something awakened by her own willpower.
The fun thing about backstories is you can make em as bleak as you want without ruining the existing narrative ;-; Also, that moment when you realize that Acheron vs Firefly would've been a REAL fight, like hooooly. They would've taken out the entire dream by themselves if they clashed for real, no wonder Acheron was so keen to deescalate!
Edit: Yeah, it really looks like Glamoth was long dead but the Iron Cavalry survived and continued fighting for potentially many more generations after the fall. That final push wasn't driven by the desperation to protect what remained, it was driven by the fury to avenge what was lost.
Edit 2: The moment when the tree started to sprout looked an awful lot like Seele's awakening in HI3, which would be consistent in universe if we assume the criteria for awakening is for a person with the potential for it to fall to their lowest, most desperate point and *fail to break.*
Now it is unconfirmed whether there is another survivor like Firefly, but I think we can all say that Firefly is the last of her series and by that I mean the Type-IV, looks like all the Type-IV were wiped out in this battle following the Scorched Earth Operation... Except for Firefly of course

I think it's more... she just awakened the power of an emanator. I mean... they're up against the swam, an emanator of propagation, makes sense that an opposite emanator would be required to defeat them.
If you looked closy some of the fyreflies have red shoals to conceal themself instead of being nake if ever they got of armour during the massecure

tbh theres no implication ff is the sole survivor, and in the live stream acheron mentioned she met some of the mechs in her travel, hopefuly we see more of these implied survivors
Acheron lived for a long time, when she says she meet other mechs it may be from waaaay before the swarm battle over so that means the mechs died
For the Acheron meeting the survivors it could also mean she’s met them when they were dead. There are no implications that Firefly isn’t the only survivor as Acheron indeed has met people who have died (ex Tiernan). For all we know, she met them in the sea around The Nihility.
Just making assumptions, I suppose the armor that Firefly uses is kinda like the "Mass production" unit compared to what we saw in the Myriad Celestia Trailer.
Also in the "Keeping it up in Star Rail", Owlbert mentions that power up she had isn't a normal function of the suit.
Hopefully it gets cleared up in the upcoming update, so excited!

first of all, they already did many times long time ago with HI3 if you don't know
Second, you can expect about that in Honkai series side but I'm not sure about Genshin side because they not showing credit of who made those animation. I guess it's not them because the art style is quite different from Honkai series in term of 2D.

I researched Firefly before this animation was posted, and I honestly got the impression that Trailblazer was the one who found Firefly in her Cryopod and recruited her. I guess I was wrong. I was kind of hoping that we would see Stellaron Hunter Trailblazer in this animation. Maybe it's still too early to tell even after watching this animation. There’s something very odd about that ending. I feel like I'm missing something here that I can't piece together.
She couldn't have survived for so many years while suffering from her ELS. The only way I can think of how she survived all these years while preserving the ELS was that she was in cryostasis. Maybe we might learn more once her banner is released to check out her character story. I'm still holding on to the theory that Trailblazer recruited Firefly.
Who knows? The ship kafka was in looked huge maybe trailblazer was in it but didnt get shown in the trailer.

@@medojed8266 I’m not really talking about Ruan Mei intentions. What I’m clarifying is that in the video reaction Agekk mistook the Swarm Mother being the same thing as Skaracabaz. Also I know most likely the clone Skaracabaz most likely is a smaller baby size form of the original one because the real one is suppose to be a star shattering monster.

@@medojed8266 her imtention is irrelevant. It is the risk of tayzeronth resurection. The thing with the swarm is, every swarm are tayzeroth clone albeit lacking aeonhood. The reason for the aeon alliance againts the swarm is simply because tayzeronth can pass his authority to an individual swarm and it will become tayzeronth. This make it hard for tayzeronth to be killed. Due to this qlipoth not really kill him but instead imprisoned tayzeroth cell sealed inside amber. This amber are studied by alchemy commision and intelegensia guild and this study shown a sign of resurection. Later fu xuan did divination to this amber and the result make her anxious.
All those are lore in the game btw.
@@RePhantomz Perhaps, although I cannot really validate that Tayzzyronth can pass his authority onto individual swarms. Not to mention she did not ressurect an emanator, but rather the clone. Clone will never be as strong as the actual individual, or at least not now since they don't seem to have the technology to create an identical clone with their recorded strengths. The one with Fu Xuan, maybe. I remember something similar, though I am not certain if it is what you said.
Let's look at it this way, to our knowledge Intelegentsia guild is making weapons for the IPC, the Alchemy Commission is corrupt to the core or unable to take of business outside of the Xianzhou. As far as we know Genius Society has made public knowledge of all Aeons and their Emanators.

1. The detail are mostly peppered im swarm disaster from voracity attempt to ate tayzeronth and multiple attempt from ena to kill it etc. Also the clone when given authority of tayzeronth it become tayzeronth there is no lore that mention it become weaker. so dont make things up.
2. all detail about potensial for tayzeronth resurection is in Glimpse into the beyond. It is a documentation of every aeon in the eyes of xienzhou. They use xienzhou naming for every aeon i.e ruin author (nanook), Wisdomweaver (nous) etc. To read tayzeronth entry look for swarm author part.
3. As i said about ruan mei intention being irrelevant, both intelegensia and alchemy commision intention are equally irrelevant. What important is their founding being backed by fu xuan divination and her anxiety about the result.

2. Fine though I will be very skeptical of this for obvious reasons. If the people of Xianzhou recorded Aeons as they see it, that can rile up a lot of misconceptions, miscommunications or just blatant lies.
3. Did Fu Xuan openly say what she found, or was she only anxious because if it is only the anxious part then this argument goes out the window. People can get anxious for various things and that is just a pure speculation.

@@crimsonskies391 well first is about this character Ff/Sam, his speak way is polite and in Japanese will have grammar about POLITE, example when Sam appear in 2.1, in engdub he speak more like angry and a little creepy, but in Japanese he speak polite because use Japanese polite grammar, but his voice still mysterous and make him more powerful and dangerous. That's why Jp voice is more comfortable about his personality and his speak way. Sorry if my engslish is not good
