Fleetwood Mac's 1977 album 'Rumours' is one of the top 5 best selling records of ALL time - over 20 million copies sold in the US and still selling today... 'Dreams' was written & sung by Stevie Nicks... she is 1 of 3 lead singers for Fleetwood Mac. Check out ANY song from that record... 'Gold dust woman' is a song that will give u CHILLS! 🥶
Christine McVie (keyboards) & Lindsey Buckingham (guitar) were the other 2 singers/songwriters... Stevie Nicks also has solo records... Stevie is the woman on the cover w/ drummer Mick Fleetwood... John McVie is the band's bassist.

Musicianship. This band had it. Everyone of them were incredibly good on their respective instruments as well as their vocals. Also, they were all prolific song writers. They were so good, that they had to self-impose a limit, usually two, on each member's compositions. Add in some legendary drama and you have one helluva rock band.

There's two distinct Fleetwood Macs. They started off in the late 60s as more of a blues rock band, with founding members Mick Fleetwood (drums) and John Mcvie (bass). Later they moved to America with Christine McVie on keyboard, and were joined by American couple Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham, a great singer and a brilliant guitarist. Fans of the early incarnation view later Fleetwood Mac as an American sellout version, while most fans of the American period, which was FAR more commercially successful, are mostly unaware of the earlier version of the band.

Peter Green, the founder of the band, named the band after the rhythm section of Mick Fleetwood, (Drums) and John McVie (Mac),(Base). Peter must have had a premonition as with the many changes in the bands line-up over the years, Mick and John have been the only constants in the band.

Yeah Stevie Nicks and fleetwood Mac will not disappoint you. Been listening to them for my whole life. This is one group that they played their music on the radio when they released stuff and they never stopped playing their songs. They combined their names. Stevie had a great solo career and great collars with Don Henley and Tom Petty to name a few. They always play their music. It's timeless. I don't think they will ever stop playing their stuff. Great rabbit hole to go down. So many hits

One of the great things about this particular song is that the guitar and keyboard are so restrained, but they still shine. They're playing accent notes while the main part of the song is vocal, drums, and a steady quiet bass.

This is THE band. And Stevie went on to have her own mega solo career. Gypsy and Dreams may be her signature songs. But the catalogs for Fleetwood and her are huge. There is so much about Fleetwood you don't yet know that made them so beloved by their fans. Mainly, the stories behind their songs and how they were about each other.

The band is Fleetwood Mac. The five members at the time of this album were Stevie Nicks (vocals), Lindsey Buckingham (vocals, guitars), Christine McVie (vocals, keyboards), John McVie (bass), and Mick Fleetwood (drums). The people on the cover are Mick Fleetwood (who is very tall) and Stevie Nicks.

The woman singing is Stevie Nicks. The man on the cover with her is Mick Fleetwood- the drummer and original member of the band (the name of the band is a reference to both Mick and John McVie- the bassist who are the originals). Other members are Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie (vocals, guitar and piano). This lineup is the mainstream lineup after Stevie and Lindsey joined the band, but they started out as a blues band. You might know the song 'Black Magic Woman' which is from Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac era. I suggest you check out all eras of this band because they've been amazing since the very beginning!

The members of Fleetwood Mac are Lindsey Buckingham- lead male vocals and guitar, Stevie Nicks- lead female vocals and tambourine, Christie McVie- female vocals and keyboard/piano, John McVie- bass, and Mick Fleetwood- drums. The name is a combination of Mick and John's last names and the band got their start in 1967. That's a brief detail of the band. If you want to know all the juicy drama, you're gonna have to look it up. By the way the tall man in the picture is Mick and the woman is Stevie.

You have to keep checking out Fleetwood Mac, especially this Rumors album - it's one of the top selling albums of all time, probably one of the first albums I ever bought (at age 13, back in 1977). On the cover, the man is the drummer, Mick Fleetwood, and the woman is Stevie Nicks, the singer of this song. LOTS of history surrounds this band and, yes, they are one of the top rock-n-roll bands of all time. Three Brits and two Americans. Great reaction!

Fleetwood Mac was pure alchemy. John McVie (bass) and Mick Fleetwood (drums) were an amazing rhythm section, and all five members of the band were great songwriters. Christine McVie (keyboards - wife of John) wrote and sang a number of great hits, as did Lindsay Buckingham (guitars). The woman singing this song was Stevie Nicks (vocals/percussion) who was not the only singer in the band, but was primarily a singer and percussionist (usually tambourine). They have a lot of great songs that will get stuck in your head a earworms that you will find yourself humming day after day. One of my favorite songs (and one that is a bit underrated) is the song "Hold Me" from the album Mirage (1982).
