I think ousmanne dembele is a worthy inclusion. In a star studded barca side of recent years, he has looked to be incredibly dangerous and has outshone everyone barring messi at times. In others, like the infamous night at anfield where a corner was taken quickly, he missed an absolute sitter and possibly denied barca a third treble. When injury free, his combination of pace and dribble and a incisive shot can make him truly, brilliant. But his decision making and injury problems always make it seem like he is just on the verge of breaking out, but not quite.

Here in Brasil, we have the traditional expression "Pipoqueiro" ("Popcorn maker/seller") to describe a player - or even a team/club - who, despite his talent and capability, kinda 'disappears' and fails on bigger occasions.
It serves to define players that supposedly crack under pressure and can't step up when it matters the most. It's similar to the expressions "Bottler" or "Chocker", and, in the case of a Club, "Spursy" in English Football. 😅

Great video, I agree with all your picks and their explanations. In the Chelsea circles there's always been this air of "What if RLC had never played that treacherous mid season friendly in America." He'd just broken into Sarri's starting XI, was our best player other than Hazard in the first half of the season. Old smoky lungs hated the youth and academy but Ruben forced himself into the team through his performances. Then he went and did his Achilles for a year in that friendly, bringing all his progress to a standstill.
A year under Lamps would have been perfect for him. If not for the future Chelsea captain that is. Mason Mount is the worst thing that could have happened to his career and prospects at Stamford Bridge. Now you've got Conor Gallagher lighting it up at Palace as well.
We've always felt he has the potential to reach the very top but with every passing week it feels more improbable. This year under Tuchel, flattered to deceive he has indeed. here's hoping our injury crisis could be a blessing in disguise for Ruben.

I'm from Porto and I totally agree with that argument for Marega... He was great for us, his work rate was always amazing every game even if he didn't score you would see him go up and down the field many times even defending inside the box and he does things at a physical level that no one else can, but he lacks a lot of technique, decision making and composure, so even though we loved him and we always will we can never compare him to the likes of Falcão, Lisandro Lopez, Benny McCarthy, Jardel or even Jackson Martinez who was top quality during his prime at Porto before the injuries
EDIT: And I can go as far as saying that if Marega had a bit of all these critical attributes that he lacks he would probably be the greatest the footballer in the world. I know this sounds a bit crazy but most of Porto fans would agree and would think like this when we say him play, but that's why he never went for greater heights I would say, because as it stands he is just another common player (not common at all but you get it)

Great video, as always! If you need suggestions for a part 2, I would suggest Luan, who plays for Corinthians, the team that I support here in Brazil. In 2017 he was the best player of South America and the best player in the Libertadores, leading Gremio to the title, he was brilliant, capable of beating players with ease, he had great vision, an amazing pass and was capable of scoring amazing goals, it was like he was made to be the next Neymar and play in Europe, but he declined and now he is so lazy, sometimes looking lethargic and incapable of creating goals.
Alfie, I would like to thank you for your amazing content and for sharing so much with us, you're such an inspiration for me! Wish you a happy christmas, hope you and your family have a safe and relaxing season, full of peace, joy and hapiness.

This situation might be right up your alley - Serie A 20th place side Salernitana have been given nine days to live as they have to either find a new owner or face enforced relegation.
For context, their owner also owns Lazio and Italian football has conflict of interest rules that don't allow you to own two teams in the same league. They were given until the 31rst to find a new owner, they have not done so yet.

Newcastle seem to attract these players with the likes of Ben Arfa, Obafemi Martins and Jonjo Shelvey fitting the bill of players who have everything to be world class but aren't. Joe Hart and Jordan Pickford are capable of outstanding saves yet you would not trust either as your teams keeper.
