I cannot believe I missed this one! Very good walk-through. I typically stay in Kolonaki when visiting but still did not know some of this. I will say that, if possible, orienting the viewer by having an obvious starting point and then navigating from there would help. Not sure how difficult that might make things for you though. As for the restaurants, Oikeio is really good (as you said). Really nice owner, too. We go there every visit since it is also a 1 minute walk from where we typically stay. Same for Mpirmpilo on Ploutarchou. EXCELLENT briam, nice owner, and indoor/outdoor seating. Another good one is Malconi's if you want Italian food. All right there in the same small area. I'm getting hungry just thinking about them...
Thank you for these neighbourhood tours, I watched them all to hype myself before I visited this year. Even now that I’m back home, I love watching them to remind me of the stories and memories I made there. I really appreciate your videos and I can’t wait to go back to Greece and especially Athens.
I really enjoy your posts, thank you. I went to an American College for a year and we lived in flats in Kolonaki. It was so nice to see that market again! I lived on Xenokratous and would open my shutters every Friday morning to the noise and activity of the very same market, 50 years ago.
Superb film. As a former Brit expat, living and working in Athens, your videos of Athens and the islands evoke wonderful memories. More videos, more often please. Hope you’re recovering well.
Thank you! I wish I could make more videos but I work and don’t have time to do more than one a week. Maybe one day I will be able to do TH-cam full time though!!
Have so many fond memories of Kolonaki. My daughter's Obstetrician office is there. Used to go often in 2019. Like to back every chance I get when I went back in 2022. Just 15 min away, from where I stay. Many great neighborhoods close by in Athens. Miss it dearly. Thank you for the live.
I have so many great memories from Kolonaki. Love Athens in general, it is the best city for me in the world - memories, experiences, people I met, emotions I had, food, every day life, mood. I just love it. Thank you Tiffany for sharing this. I always wait for your vlogs and thank you for them - but you already know it as I write both here and on insta.
Didn’t have time to walk here, but went past running man in a cab…….I want to commend your videos…..they really helped me plan for my recent trip to Athens …..many of these travel influencers use too much silly, artsy or dramatic crap…..you give the info straight up and simple! Just now I like it……I can easily take notes during the video.
Absolutely love your walking videos especially 😊 Having never visited Athens before, we stayed in Plaka in April and are coming back for Christmas & New Year all thanks to your fantastic videos and recommendations. We adore Athens 🇬🇷 Have a great weekend ✨
thanks for taking the time to make this video! Kolonaki is in my top 3 of neighborhoods in which to move when I retire to Greece! Have you done a video on Pangrati/Mets?
Where should I set the GPS for in Kolonaki in terms of all the restaurants and shops? Is there a particular restaurant that I can put in my GPS that will take me to more of a lively area? Thanks!
Kolonaki is a great place for a coffee and a spot of watching the world go by.
Definitely a great people watching spot!
Someone give this lady a shoe sponsorship for all the walking she does for her vlogs which we enjoy
Haha! Thanks. That would be cool.

Wow, I was walking in Kolonaki past friday !
It’s a small world! You would have knew it was me if you had seen me with my camera out.
@@agirlandherpassport If I had seen you I would definitely have talked to you, we went up Lycabettus hill and stopped for a bite at dexameni.
Probably just missed each other then!
Great tour! I will try to remember to go to the little cinema and the bookstore next time. 📚
Thank you! The cinema is only open in the summer so be sure to check before you go. 😊
Great video!

One of the best areas in central Athens. I used to go there a lot. Sadly, very expensive.
It is very expensive. I also got tired of walking up the stairs to my street all the time.
@@agirlandherpassport That too
Yes kolonaki is really beautiful district
Love it
Thank you
Thank you too!
7:12 you passed by the embassy of Peru.
There are so many embassies in Kolonaki! I don’t even pay attention anymore.
🙏😊 Ευχαριστώ πολύ 😊
Παρακαλώ!
@@agirlandherpassport yep, learning Greek & interested in pagrati or Mets...
@@shaulkirsch1263 Good to start before you get here!

Nice tour 😊
Thank you!!
I can't wait until the Metro line is completed. I'm not there yet full time, but it will make life so much easier with that last metro line
It’s going to be awhile but those areas definitely need it. More will need it when they are finished though.
I was told that it is the final metro line to be installed,
but who knows.
I haven’t heard that. I think that would be hard to predict.
thanks for taking the time to make this video! Kolonaki is in my top 3 of neighborhoods in which to move when I retire to Greece! Have you done a video on Pangrati/Mets?
You’re welcome. I haven’t. I don’t know them as well so I would need to do some research first.
@@agirlandherpassport Thanks !! If you do, I would be most interested to see it!! :)
Your Greek pronunciations are improving!
Thanks!

Kolonaki square is a good place to put in. Lots of restaurants around that area.
Thank you.
You’re welcome!
I wanna buy a house was filled with sunshine in Athens. What a wonderful city~ What a wonderful country~
I was a wimp and took the teleferik up to Lycabetus.
Nah, it’s a steep climb.
😊👍
They finally cleaned "The Running Man"?😱 Hallelujah !!
I could barely tell any difference though. 🤷♀️
Beverly hills of greece😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Are you ok? Do you need anything? I have friends that can help you.
Thanks. I am okay.
you should eat mousaka with feta
I couldn’t have eaten all that.
