O, I now some more on the step of the best ones, in my opinion and knowledge of marshes there the Radetzky-Marsh and the Hoch Heidecksburg Marsh as well.as the Florentiner, but its of course the longest with around 5 minutes, a symphonic marsh!

In the 1970's the Berlin Philharmonic, conducted by Herbert von Karajan, released an excellent album of Austrian and Prussian marches. I purchased the vinyl album and the CD. I enjoy march music from countries throughout the world. My country was very fortunate to also have great marches by John Philip Sousa.
i am tired of people picking a song apart when people play it if you can do any better then pick up and instrument sit down with no time to practice it and play it perfect if not then sit there and keep you comments to your self period it takes a great deal of courage to get up in front of people and play this sounded great to me
I have played clarinet and flute in several concert bands over 30 odd years, we all had our off days, the venue, the audience, the acoustics all impact on the players. I agree with your comments.
No re-do in a live performance, can't say let's start over if you mess up... you just play. good or bad it's going to be reflection of how much time and effort you put into practicing your part. I agree with your comments, I liked this particular performance :-)

Komponist war der kuk.Militärmusik-Komponist Julius Fucik, er diente unter anderem in Sarajevo. Den Marsch komponierte er für Gran Duca Pietro Leopoldo, Regent der Toscana, Sohn der österr. Erzherzogin Maria Theresia. Sie wurde von einem Piefke-Poster als Ösi-Schlampe bezeichnet, anstatt daß sie sich aufs Pferd schwang und in die Schlacht ritt wie der Säbelrassler, war sie oft schwanger
Da haben sie recht wir spielen diesen Titel auch ... Nummer 40 .... Am schwersten ist es wenn dieser Teil kommt wo das tenorhorn da dieses 1 Ton hoch wieder runter wieder hoch wieder runter .... Also finde ich persönlich da ich selber in einem orchester mitspiele... naja Ich da aber noch anderes empfinden als die Erwachsenen da ich erst 12 bin ☺
@@sophiexy9139 nein Sophie... Dein Empfinden ist völlig richtig. Egal wie alt man ist dieses Musikstück erfordert Können u viel Konzentration. Es freut mich als "alten Orchestermusiker" dass es junge Menschen gibt die an dieser Art Musik gefallen finden... mach einfach weiter so....

This march was btw composed by the same guy who wrote the "Circus theme" it was Czech named Julius Fučík
It's a pity that the piccolo part could not be heard clearly, because it is incomparably beautiful and very difficult.

Meine Erklärung für "Daumen runter" ist der E-Bass, unmöglich, ein Stilbruch sondergleichen und dazu viel zu laut! Näheres in meinem Kommentar.
