That’s not the way that I was instructed to run a tap in automotive shop class. We were taught to back off the tap to release he chip. What’s your experience?
Won’t bother installing myself. Always get professionals to install their equipment. Saves time and money while preventing potential repair expenses to tank and parts of truck. Plus you’ll be on the road faster making more profit otherwise.
Richardson video I really like watching stuff like this I was wondering does it charge the batteries or does it just hook up to the batteries to start the engine
Those very expensive apu only handles 6k to 7k btu. They are not powerful enough for summer in arizona, texas, MM or anything over 100. Get yourself a mini split 12k btu anf that thing will cool your truck in extreme heat.
I disagree I don't know about the green apu but I had a thermo king on my old truck and I run Texas and AZ alot and it worked grate maybe yours was not working properly
Mine is loud and does not heat my truck very well if the outside temp is below 20 degrees. Will only raise engine coolant to 100 degrees in winter time. I don’t think it’s working properly.
It's true they are loud, Its a generator and it's the compromise for comfort you are getting air conditioning or heating. Plus power and it's cheaper then running your truck all night. It's saves fuel and truck life so its worth the cost over time.
I see a bunch of stuff I don't like. Coolant shared with truck is no good. Way too big. Connecting to the truck alternator is no good. Too many holes in the truck.
I have a Green Apu on my brand new Freightliner cascadia evolution
I'm very impressed
Highly recommend
Way better then other models
I like see GREEN APU respond to questions and pertinent comments.
I would like the this guy to install the apu on my truck he knows his job definitely
He’s good.
These ppl install on on my 01 international 9900ix.. about a month ago..
I’m in Alaska with the truck at the moment and it works great 👍

That’s why they pressurized the fuel tank before drilling
THANKS A LOT !!

What's the weight of it and how long will it run for?

It charges the batteries too
If you use 5/8 instead of 16 mm along with your 9/16 you don't need to pull out two set of sockets I believe those are standard not metric
dude im hating how easy you make this appear. but good video thanks
Those green APU sure lud as hell at night time,
is this apu any good ? im trying to put one in my freightliner classic xl and looking to different brands
Which APU did you go with?
Wear a masks and eye protection when cutting metal

How much does it cost to install an electric one ?
I am willing to get installed into my truck

GreenAPU puts out closer to 24000 or 26000 BTUs.
How much it’s cost ?
Thanks
nice
can that be done for an older 1995 freightliner truck ?
Yes it should work for any truck
Green apu is light years ahead of the Carrier Comfort Pro and TK Tripak evolution.
Mine is loud and does not heat my truck very well if the outside temp is below 20 degrees. Will only raise engine coolant to 100 degrees in winter time. I don’t think it’s working properly.
I would still flush the fuel tank afterwards to make sure no shavings.
What’s the price here
Do you guys still install
Thanks for the video. Im looking for your location and price
Google green apu
All information is there..
$9300 labor and all..

No link for product no nada???
IKR I’d like to probably buy 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
How much
You really need a camera man
Where can you buy this
Look up any carrier dealer they sell and install them in one place.
There’s no way that’s his shirt. Look how big that thing is. Damn.
😂😂😂😂
Idk anyone who works in a shop and has shiny shoes on seems suspicious to me.
10000 dollars for installation I will get termoking for 10700
why you think thermoming is better ?
The cost of parts, and especially what thermoking charges to work on them is why these in my opinion are better.
Green diesel apu ... lol
Worst green washing ever !
Wased space.
APU is louder than the semi engine and expensive. I have to move every time a with a apu parked by. Dumb people would install one. 😂😂😂
the green apu new engine supposed to be 50 dbl
thats same as conversation sound
basically nothing
