I JUST checked out madelena and the dark!!!! I have such high hopes! I can't wait to see what you will think of it too!
Omg I am so excited for you to finish the winternight trilogy!!! It's my fave and I truly think you are going to love it! 🤞❤️💯
I realllllly want to read this is how you lose the time war so I'm glad you loved it! I'm definitely moving it up my tbr!

I think you’ll like Time War! It’s a kind of love story I’ve never seen before.
I’m returning some boring library books tomorrow and starting either Madalena or Ink Blood Sister Scribe. I think I’m finally over the FOMO of new releases!
I need to spend my next long weekend reading Winternight. Have you read Juniper and Thorn? It’s somewhat similar Eastern European fantasy-horror. (Yes, let’s add more to our endless TBRs 🤪) Thanks for watching! 💜

I read Flowerheart this year and I loved so much of it, but the way the main character acted with her dad kind of rubbed me the wrong way

I did feel like she acted much younger in her interactions with her dad than she was when she was with anyone else. Family interactions just might be a weird thing in this author’s writing lol - I read her other book and enjoyed it but the parents def did some strange stuff.

@@giantcupofcoffee idk how I did this, but I JUST realized that I was mixing up Flowerheart with another book. lol. I did read Flowerheart and also mostly enjoyed it, and they’re both short slower paced fantasy stories, but the book I was thinking of is called The Will And The Wilds. Lol. Her father has dementia and sometimes she handled it in ways that didn’t feel right to me. Sorry about the mix up. 😅😂

@@victoriamasters no worries! There are a lot of books like this and it’s easy to mix them up!
