I'm half way through and am savoring this book. The words and descriptions are so gorgeous. I'm 57 years old and this book resonated with me on so many levels.

Excellent information on Tom Lake. I listened to the book which was great because of Meryl Streep. Loved your interpretation of Ann Patchett ‘s writing.

I know that writing quality os super important to you and I definitely think you’d get along with her style, at least for long enough to see if you’re into the stories she’s telling. In Tom Lake there’s a no-nonsense treatment of a controversial issue and that was such a relief to me. Thank you for watching !! 💜👻💀

Such an interesting idea! I think everyone could relate with those themes even though most of us didn't date celebrities 😅 It has been a while since I read an Ann Patchett book. Great review! Putting it on my TBR

Thank you! I’ll keep an eye on your channel to see if you end up reading it! The celeb angle was kind of funny because I went to school with someone who became very famous, and to other people we might be seen as people from the celebrity’s past, even though to us we’re real people with full lives. 💜💜💀

I think celebrities are so overrated. To get caught up over a summer of trying to be one is a drag for me
