It's fun with great banter (though gory but don't get too creeped out from the TWs 😅-- it's extensive and *technically* true but I think Weaver did a good job of incorporating it...? 🤣). I also want to read Bear Town as well or just some Fredrik Backman's book. Hopefully it'll be on the list for Ellen's book club! You definitely got a lot of good choices for this fall. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on All the Light, just prepare to be a bit lost at first and for it to be on the slower side… But totally worth it in the end! And I would recommend both reading and listening to that one. And I’m so glad you enjoyed watching! Can’t wait to get to these 😊❤️
@@LibrariesandLattes Good to know! I have the Swedish translation, but I have the audiobook for that as well! The English one is 17hours and the Swedish one is 20… It’s like the Ents! 😂 In Sweden, we don’t say anything unless it’s worth taking a looong time to saaaayyy…

Otherwise I prefer to keep it at 1.0, but it depends on the language level and the kind of book. If I listen before bed though, I'll slow it down a bit... works like a charm 😊

I'm on the fence about Butcher and Blackbird, so I'm interested to see what you think. I didn't know Erin A Craig had a new book coming out, I'll have to add that to my TBR, I read "Small Favors" by her and really liked it. I really liked T. Kingfisher's "wizard's guide to defensive baking" - it's a middle grade book but it's so charming, also perfect for the fall, not to add more to your TBR. I would love to buddy read something with you if you have the chance!
