HI! Thank you for posting this! My husband is Iranian, and I am involved in a predominately Iranian community, and it is has been soooooooo hard for me to understand their gestures, and etiquette. I think it is all so beautiful and I appreciate being involved but unfortunately I am the only American around and ugh anyway, you know what I mean. It is even more difficult because they are students and have been here a short time and will leave in a short time, so they outnumber me and are not here long enough to understand my etiquette or gestures. so yeah. I will subscribe and follow your videos closely. One thing I know for certain, Iranians are the sweetest and most welcoming. My husband is a shiekh and all of the people in my community men and women are PhD students. Thank you for standing up for the Iranian people.
I've been Iran 3 years ago, it was so great. I think another strange thing is doing bargain for everything. By the way, you are stunning, thank you for another great video.
oh u are right:) we want everything cheaper...i'm not sure if it is part of our culture because so many people not to do it but it feel kind of winning something when they bargain:))
2:02 None of those things are banned. Some of them are just culturally strange for us. Tattooing for example is generally non-existent in Iranian history and culture and too much of it is considered really weird. Eyebrow plucking is actually pretty common.
I dont know why this is...Iran or Persia always has a special place in India ...both are as ancient as history itself. Northern India is heavily influenced by Persia and maybe other way round too. India is put under a lot of pressure from Trump dude.I understand the times tough and going is getting tougher but this too will pass. Salam to awam of Iran from sarzameen-e-hinduston.

the part you said about weaving rugs imperfect was new to me. I know a lot of old people who used to weave rugs. even my parent used to weave rugs for themself in their spare time. but I never heard what you said about God and perfection. of course, we believe that only God is perfect. but I think a few people relate that to carpet weaving and I never heard of that. thanks for your nice video.
It's takes so long to familiar with you. Very informative👍👌. We really enjoed it. We found really new things apart from our knowledge about Iran a land of oil, oldest Persian kingdom. * new words we found like "Taroof" * 95% lieteracy rate, which is very good * 70% young population below age 30 * DAMAVAND active volcano, highest in Asia And many more...
That's cute in the end. Lol. Anyways, coming to the video, it's really nice to know these things about Iran. Few are strange and few are just wow. (I guess every country has this combination). I just hope the current tension ends, ends for good. Thanks for the video Farrah really enjoyed it. It's always nice to see you 😊 😍❤🙏 Edit: also wanted to ask you whether Iranian tea is famous? Because, here in India its considered to be nice and famous. So is it true that iran is famous for its Chai(tea)?
Yes, tea runs in the veins of Iranians! haha... And it's very strong, but drank with no milk. I just thought it was a common thing so I didn't mention it.
actually some things have changed by now plucking brows, getting tanned and things like that which are considered “feminine” are not banned. they’re just socially inappropriate having a c-section has been band in the past few years and you can only have it under a doctor prescription for medical reasons
As an American I have no ill will toward the Iranian people as a whole and I find Iran to be a fascinating country from what I've learned of it. It certainly has a rich history. But realistically, even if I could go there the powers that be would probably arrest me, falsely accuse me of being a spy and then imprison and torture me. So, it's a shame that such a great people are held hostage by the terrible ones. I wish I could visit historical sites like Persepolis, and I have to wonder if Iran would be more progressive if it were still predominantly Zoroastrian and not held hostage by Islamic fundamentalists.
They hate american politics, not americans..no difference from american citizens who selectively espouse democrats / republicans / iberals. You can see the numerous travel videos on youtube disproving your cautious fear.. Is their anger justified, mostly so. It all started with the CIA overthrow of their govt and a refusal to be a subjugated vassal like Japan.
I have watched some of the various travel videos on youtube and I agree, it looks like a great place to visit in terms of the general population, but under the shadow of an oppressive regime. 'Tis a shame - I hope that the people can enjoy greater freedom in the future and that maybe even Americans can visit without fear one day.
@@mj1234321 The Iranian government has made the people miserable. I hope the government will be destroyed in the near future and your free Iran will travel to Iran safely
I was born and lived in Iran for 30 years and never seen a single person in my life doing parkour nor did I see in in Iranian TV shows, Cinema or national TV.
Here I was in my tanning bed, lavashak in hand, working on my below knee farmers tan, watching iranian parkour videos when the lights cut out.. next thing you know a voice yells out "your time's up" It was the mortality police and I barely made it out on my imperfect persian magic carpet... (Still working on taarof..noes/noes/noes = hell yes) Jokes aside, most of the negative press is due to the misguided perception that Iran will take the knee and conform to mounting pressure. To add President Covfefe is a political novice executing a foreign policy not of his making. Persians are not Arabs for starters and most definitely not conquerable. Iran will always persevere regardless of adversity The one good thing out of all this is Trump will "bigly likely" lose 2020 seat because of the Iran fiasco (Jimmy Carter 2.0) and not the false Russiagate/Ukrainegate/Build-the-wall premise. Assassinating Sardar Soleimani was the biggest mistake and the forthcoming dividends will never stop - History will be the truthsayer -Sometimes a person dead is more dangerous than alive...

Hi, as a person who lives in Iran, I can tell you, most of restrictions you heard about Iranian is lie. of course there are a lot of differences but people are free to act. the morality police is abolished these days and only the name is repeated by those who want to accuse Iran. there is a morality police in Iran, but they intervene for example when someone is bothering a women or something like that. those who disturb women for their clothing are so low in quantity. Iran is a beautiful and strong country. but the world is not happy with us because we dont want to obey them like other countries. they want to tear us apart in little countries and they want our oil and minerals for free. thanks for your beautiful video.
