First day of early voting here today. The turnout was MASSIVE, and saw no one complaining about the two hour long line that moved quickly (considering). We just passed the time chatting with like minded strangers... it was fantastic! 💙🙌🏽😎

im in stillwater oklahoma. oklahoma is buckle of the bible belt. in my town i saw trump bullshit everywhere in 2016. in 2020 college dudes were riding around flying flags from the back of pickup trucks on election night. im not seeing any enthusiasm for trump just a lot of glum. right here down in intense trump country, the enthusiasm just isn't there. no state went harder (per capita) for trump in 2020 except for like, idk, west virginia or north dakota. the local paper publishes disgusting caricatures of kamala harris and disingenuous political cartoons from known partisan assholes. that's the best they got. no bumper stickers, no signs. no flags. the assholes are gonna stay home this year. run through the tape.
I’m seeing exactly the same thing here in rural Kansas. Canvassing for Harris-Walz, I’ve been counting the yard signs… I’ve counted 28 Harris-Walz signs and 2 Trump-Vance, a remarkable change since 2020. No Trump flag festooned trucks. Sure seems the cult spell has been broken.

I live in Az and my ballot was delivered today. Will be filling it out tomorrow and returning it. My family and friends have already returned theirs or will be doing so in the next couple days. We are all voting straight blue of course
I received my ballot on October 12th, filled it out that evening, dropped it off October 13th at the drop box at my local library and I received notification from Colorado Ballottrax that my ballot was received and will be counted on October 14th. I love the way Colorado runs it's elections.

Alas, a ton of those high volume early voters were from red counties, not blue. Is it possible that these counties got an influx of democrat voters since 2020? Perhaps, but a closer look at where these votes are coming in from are worrying.

I’m an Independent who voted Republican since Reagan. Then Trump came along and changed everything for me. In 2016, I wrote in a different Republican. In 2020, I proudly voted for Biden, and yesterday, I proudly voted for Harris and voted straight blue down ticket. At this point, unless the Republicans clean up the cesspool their party has become, I sincerely doubt I will ever vote for a Republican again.

North Carolina Early Voting, in person, started today, Oct 17! My sister and I were there by 9:00 am! Voting straight Democratic here in red rural Lincoln Co. The East Lincoln Community Center, where we vote early, was quite crowded. Cars were parked out on the field beyond. We are in Paso Robles CA, a fairly red area. 2016 and 2020 had tRump signs everywhere. and trucks fully loaded with flags, etc. This year...only a handful of signs, and I have yet to see a single truck "'parade". I can't say that there will be less red voters, but they sure are far less enthusiastic. Thank goodness!
