Watching your dad lose his mind is a spectale no person wishes to see. The writers did a good job displaying how even though Frank's body appeared immortal; there are always consequences to your actions. Frank dying alone on his deathbed is a representation of how he went about life. Alone. Truly a shameless individual.
He nailed that look on his face that ppl with dementia often show. That look of “I think I was supposed to remember something, but now that’s gone too”
@benfleming7246no humans. if you don’t think men do that look at every huge world even, it was all caused by a man, a man stated the wars, a man invented rape a man was the first person to kill, look at statistics

none of the Gallaghers are wholesome. They all have serious issues who will in all reality pass those issues onto their children and continue the cycle.
He's not tragic he's the author of his own life (as we all are). In order for it to be tragic it needs to be something outside of your control like you were hit by a car or stepped on a landmine not I did bad things my whole life because -insert excuse- and now I'm reaping what I've sowed.
@@TravisKastl-ui9mkit is tragic since the love of his life was a crazy bipolar bitch that treated him like shit. @@TravisKastl-ui9mk that's not true, watching someone reap what they've sown can still be tragic even if they completely deserve it. its called empathy and its a major part of being human.
I love this scene but in reality if you tell a drug dealer the price you would like they never agree. And you end up paying what they're asking. Regardless of your kid 😂😂
Still love that he stole the painting then forgot then it was found on train with children’s stickers on it, I mean imagine that in real life would of been Netflix documentary in a about 4 weeks after the news broke.
There was a hermit who lived in the Upper Peninsula and his family was wealthy and lived in Chicago. The old man spent his time mining gold. A bear got into his winter food stash and the hermit died from starvation and freezing to death. When a boy went with his dad to gather his things to send to his family, he found two glass jars full of heavy metal in the well. His name he wrote as was Cully Gage. His name was Charles VanRiper. He was a pioneer in the field of speech pathology. He's a very good story teller.
This is so tragic. I actually lived this with my dad. Whose name was frank who was just like frank. Thank god he didn’t lose his mind. That’s all he had left. Up until the end he was in top of things…. Fucking liver cancer bro. I stopped drinking when he did. And he kept drinking damn near til the end. Then it was high grade weed and edibles. Mushrooms too. On top of the morphine and other cancer drugs. We had fun. Just wish he was still here now that my son is getting older 😢
Hurt people, hurt people. Glad I broke the curse with my family. I don’t judge people, at less not anymore. Generational curses r not easy to break. I learned to forgive and focus on my issues, that’s the first step to improvement. Then helping people that want to improve, if u can. I also learned to find Good in everything, even the worst, think outside the box, and encourage. Glad to see someone else does that. It’s not easy looking past other flaws, but it must be done💯
Putting it on an amnesia patient to tell their family about their condition seems like a self defeating plan. The condition they need to remember to tell people about is a condition that affects your ability to remember.
You're just not drinking enough! Frank had his fun, his mother fucked him up for good and he still found a way to enjoy life, when Frank was sick in s3 and s4, he spent time with his family, because he liked them. But feeling likedness to a person also made him feel the bad stuff his mother did to him, that's why he drank so much, and that is why he basically was an asshole, to not feel the horrible shit that was done to him. I'm not justifying his actions in life, I'm saying that I get him, and I don't blame him for being an asshole because he wasn't, his ancestry made him that. Cheers Frank, hope you'll find some happiness up there!
Just beautiful, it remind me of me when i was student in the USA, totally lost beacause of me as Saudi citizen who knows nothing... Now at age 60 i wazch the show with my cold bud beer for relaxing... I recommend the show, so simple so relaxing 😅😅😅😅😅
Aren't the Gallaghers drug dealers? I guarantee you that the drugs they peddle find their way into the hands of kids who then use them and get addicted or die and they steal from people on a regular bases and that's just off the top of my head. I'm not really sure they are in a position to be throwing stones lol.

26:30 a very rare moment of lip giving frank some mercy

Franny said seven and I started laughing cause frank taught her well
You diagnose a patient with alcohol induced dementia.... then expect them to remember long enough to tell their family?
Not to mention the fact that's he a con man and pathological liar
Who would have thought after everything that frank did or didn't do that we would feel bad for him.
Good writing can make you feel compassion for the most gruesome characters!
Damn, Frank was actually very wholesome in a criminal way in this first scenes.

Leave it to the dementia patient to let his family know about his diagnosis. Lol
