I've been waiting or this video! Those are absolutely gorgeous! And you're right - they're the size of beets! My friend who I gave all of my radishes to used to eat them sliced and salted on buttered bread. Have you tried them that way? I think my grandmother used to do that, too. Enjoy them!

Hey there! I wish I could grow radish like that, but I fail over & over (& over) growing radish here for some reason, & I've officially given up on them, especially since I have gotten good at growing things like turnips, rutabaga, beets, kohlrabi, etc, but I will keep sowing the seed until I run out, maybe I'll get lucky LOL. *FYI as of Yesterday Menards put their 2 CU FT Sunshine potting mix #4 on clearance for 9.99 ($8.89 atter their 11% rebate).* Not as tempting to me as the little pro-mix bales Walmart clearances out after labor day every year, but I can't ever get to those before they sell out, so yesterday I picked up all the bags they had that weren't torn & spilling out. The soil is really good & fluffy with a lot of perlite in it so I think it will do well for me in my indoor winter garden I plan to get up & running now that it's November here in Michigan Zone 6A.

@@keyphabenyisrael3219 thanks for the heads up on the sunshine mix I'm going today to get some I did get to home depot for the bone meal deal that rocked thanks for the info , I have alot of these Crimson Giant radish seeds left if you wanna try them they always produce well for me I can send you some if you want to try them no charge just let me know in a reply and I'll send my contact info thanks for watching 👍

@@citylotgardening6171 I'm glad you were able to get some burpee amendments on clearance! I've noticed some stores only have a few, some stores have cases full, & some stores were cleared out completely. My local Home Depot had lots of bone meal, but the blood meal had sold out weeks before they really got the price down to about 75% off. At this point I may very well have a lifetime supply of bone meal from my years of stockpiling it since covid hit LOL. I may take you up on the seeds, you have offered to share your seeds with me several times over the years, I really appreciate that!
