- CAT driver training have me along to see what the Citroen C1 race series is all about and just how cheap and fun this can be.
I get to review what a C1 is like to drive and also what's involved with running and preparing this fun little cars.

Great little video! Love seeing entry level/arrive and drive offerings now. Wish we had more circuits in Scotland. Bad Obsession Motorsport on YT did a C1 Race Build Series a while back for mission motorsport, showing how to build one. Soo good!
Brilliant video Jake, really enjoyed it. I've actually got my first car race this year at Brands Indy in the C1 so really helpful to get an idea from you about the car and how it handles

Encountered many a c1 race car on a track day and can't say I've ever seen one go round the corners remotely fast, but you're clearly flying in it as expected 😅

Colin's numbers seem to be a bit off. The cage is £1750 plus VAT. Cars can be bought for around £1000. There is a built car for sale for £5000.
Always loved watching a bit if C1 racing back then with the MAX5 champ. LOADS of fun to watch, especially with changeable weather in Snetterton, Although I do wonder, is it better to start one racing career in this? Or a mk1 NA MX5?

For sure it isn’t cheap but the point is you can build it to whatever spec you want when it comes to those little things that’s a personal touch and for comfort.
So you get your mates together, pool your money, build a C1 race car, get it to the grid.. and there's Jake Hill sat next to you... for f**ks sake...
I can't find any video evidence here to confirm whether I unknowingly overtook Jake hill on a track day... I'll ignore the fact I had 100 bhp more than you 😉
