Bought a c1 for my daughter to do driving lessons I love the little c1 it's so much fun on the country lanes reminds me of a two stroke bike if you have the rpm and the gear changes just right it's excellent fun I have done 5 thousand miles in it the Toyota engine very strong still get 50 to the gallon thrashing it great little car 😀

What are the regulations to the mods? Seems restricted to stock size tires. But seeing different rims. What about engine mods like basic inhale/exhale stuff. And suspension/antiroll mods. There are quite a few cheap mods to be done that will make a significant change. Also, it looks like a sh*t ton of fun! :D
Gaz coilovers, 15 inch ats wheels, sw motorsports cage, nankang ns-2r tyres, powerflex bush kit, approved weight box, racing seat, reflashed stock ecu, stock engine and must be 910kg.
Hmm gaz coilovers seem to be banned now, so only oe or citroen/kyb/bilstein.
Mega work on documentating the race mate! Must of took a good few cups of coffee to keep them eyes awake

Christian Norwik Everyone has to use club supplied tyres which are shaved from factory. So there isn’t much tread to start with! So after two hours they’re done for. Well at least on the fronts anyway!

As I look forward to purchasing bigger ”towing car” ill probably end up buying also used C1 to move around the city and question is how much it weights without interior, cage and additional weight?
Christian Norwik I think they’re around 850kg when they are standard 👍🏼
JB CTR I've checked on Wikipedia and standard comes around 805kg but I wonder how much you can ”gain” gutting the whole interior 🤔
assuming rear seats might weight around 40-50kg, removing rest of plastics (dash needs to stay) could give me sub 700kg car (probably not)...

so is it around 3.5k pound to get into racing? how much would it cost per year? can i start as soon as im 18? im 16 right now and only sim racing. Do i need a team to race or can i race on my own? Also do i have to live in uk to do the racing as im in jersey channel islands?
Patryk Rog £3.5k to build the car. Then you need everything else. I would estimate £12/13k at a minimum. Other teams will spend wayyy on excess of that.
@@JBCTR so its a bit expensive. Got my first car tho and just need to wait till my birthday to pass my licence. So i probably wont be racing then but i will definantly go to a track day at some point when i have the money

Yup, I believe it still goes ahead! Obviously covid put a spanner in the works, but similar events are still run 👍🏼
