I am about to retire, and travel in a toy hauler riding dirt bikes, mountain bikes, and kayaking. Trying to decide on the bike I want. I like tighter trails, and I did spend many years on KDX-200's riding Walker Valley Wa. I am turning 60, but really I'm physically more like someone in their 30's. No aches, no pains, and can still do uphill running sprints quite well. Trying to decide between the 300rr, 200rr, or Xtrainer. I love the idea of light and torquey. Just not sure on the suspension of the Xtrainer, although I do know AMP does good stuff with it for a bit of $$$.
I'm doing nearly the same thing. I have had a deposit on a 300 race edition for a while now, can hardly wait. I just hope it gets here before I leave Florida for the west in late January.
@@unfunny2258 Dude, EVERYONE modifies their engines these days and once an engine builder gets ahold of these bikes, and we spend our hard earned cash on the expensive billet, anodized, and coated engine parts it's a done deal! - it literally comes down to skill and technique at that point with a touch of suspension/chassis/handling for that specific area/track. They are ALL very fast out of the crate, and can be tuned to produce astronomical levels of performance - talking mid to high fifties in the HP range, and add that beautiful steel frame and suspension components that are plush, but have enough hold up in the stroke to roll over big or small obstacles at fast or slow speeds while the frame is flexing enough to not upset the chassis in turns, G-outs, ruts at speed etc. Smooth really is the name of the game with Beta - probably why they have so many championships with FIM Enduro & Enduro GP! They are beastly bikes in the amateur ranks too so don't sleep on the Italians Beta or TM Racing (like I own). They seriously feel better to me than most bikes, and ergos/feel is what Italians want the most in their bikes besides speed! ;)
@@jonathondavis170 I don't sleep on italian bikes, there is a reason i also own a tm. But betas just don't have enough power for me, put in equal money vs a tm or ktm and it still won't. My tm also won't be doing any passing right now considering i'm already chasing down issues that make it unrideable at 35 hours.
@@unfunny2258 What year is yours? Mine has had no issues! But I have a new carb 300 due to me not liking the 2020 Husqvarna TE150i with fuel injection...it fouled numerous spark plugs, and had other issues like cold starting hindrances etc. Then I got this new TM Racing EN300ES 2t and its a beast!
@@jonathondavis170 It's a 2021 tpi version of yours, I think it has a fueling issue, hesitates entering the power band and usually won't rev out unless I play with letting off, also lacks low end. Think the injectors or fuel filter got clogged because I had to run bad gas for a bit. It also has been taking a lot longer to start than before the issue, but when I crank the kicker a few times starts instantly, also pointing to there being an issue with the fuel system not being able to build pressure/get fuel flowing fast enough (could be caused by the filter as well I think). Have a new filter on the way.
I got my 300 Beta and I love it . Nothing else from here on forward. Beta only.
Love my Beta 300. I’ll never ride Orange. Beta for life

I’m not a pro or anything. I would get the 200r i think or if money allows it get 300cc 2 stroke. Ktm tpi 300. Good luck.

I’m stand by for the 200rr
That bike sounds great. Thanks for the video.
That bike is so cool and it sounds really crisp
It's awesome :)
I've always wanted to try this bike. I love my 500 RR-S. Did you get to demo that? Mines got power in every gear.
Nah I didn't ride the 500 unfortunately!
Nice, one day you must try to play in Indonesia,,here many a beautiful track 🔥
So cool man. I’m happy for you:)
I heard the RR is manageable compared to the RX.
I've never ridden the RX but I'd love to try one
Its just a pain to wait for a bike waiting now for 9months 😬😅 hope it gets here someday this month 🤔
Holy movie Best regards from Polan
Looks like that beta has the same speedo issue everyone has been complaining about for years now
So out of all of them what was your favorite
I’m standing by for the 125rr or 125rr race edition.
They didnt have the 125 at the demo unfortunately
@@DerekHallman ok. Thanks man
Hey Derek I was wondering if your go pro is mounted on your helmet I am thinking about doing the same
He runs a chin mount. You can also stick it under your visor for a similar angle
Yeah its mounted on the chin piece of my helmet
How's the power off the bottom, before it gets on the pipe?
Plentiful and smooooth
I'm not so patiently waiting for dealers to get these in! Does Commonwealth have them in stock?
Beta will be announcing the Race Ed in Oct. the 2021 models have been out of stock or disc for months.
I have a Beta 2019 250RR Rave Edition with the Beta Racing Suspension and an Ohlins rear shock.. Very nice bike!
Great day bro
The graphics on the bike seems to be 2021 model is it?
Dam seems like a beast
It's sweet!
Can u please do more trail vids and maybe get a trail bike but keep it 2t
I'd love to 👍
Nice videos ❤️💪💪
What is top speed ?
Bro I'm 6'3 tall do you think this bike is perfect for someone my hieght ? Im thinking about getting me this bike just don't want it to be short
I'm 6'3 also and was very comfortable on this bike. All full size dirt bikes are pretty much the same seat height so you'll be fine on any of them
Yo man what's the vibration like on the 2022
Is that a '22 or a '21?
Yessir!
Nice man
Impresionante
Good beta
Hear the ting, see the smoke, you just got passed by a 2 stroke.
not by a beta 2 stroke, 39 hp, what a joke

Doesn’t wanna get hurt, ... me thinking it’s only a 300.. kek
So you're full throttle to the rev limiter on a 300 two stroke in tight single-track trails? Lol
FAST...
That 300 RR rips!
350 or 390
This is the 300 2t
Yeah I realise, but did you ride the 390 racing?
I seen you rode the 350.
Thanks
That track is sketchy to the max
1st
You guys should cut down all those trees would be way easier to ride
