About Finns being good in bed, if you compare us world widely to all other cultures there are, it probably is the education in this subject also. For example I think there are way more men in Finland who understand something about female anatomy, than there are in many, more macho type of cultures, or cultures with big taboos. They only have the male perspective, but in here we are way more equal. And then a little cruel joke about Finns and depression.. Finland is one of the top countries in studies about the happiest people in the world. But we are also on top of the suicide rates. So.. basically Finns are so happy, because all the depressed people kill themselves..
The suicide rates have fallen quite a bit recently: yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/eurostat_falling_suicide_rate_in_finland_nears_european_average/10324113
Great news about suicide rates nowadays Aleksi, I didn't know that. Inga Janssen, suicide rates were really high during economic depression in '90s. Men do almost 80% of all the suicides in Finland, so it's much more common with men than women. There has been several theories why that is, but I don't know if anything has been proofed.
Yes perhaps surprisingly, nowadays countries like Switzerland (!) France and Belgium have higher suicide rates than Finland. USA and Finland are at the same level, according to the data from WHO: www.who.int/gho/mental_health/suicide_rates_crude/en/
Finnish drivers are awesome. I work for a bus company in the UK I have traveled by bus in Finnish Lapland in conditions which would make a British bus driver go straight into panic mode. The Finnish bus drivers handle snow and ice so well. They are true professionals.
They have to because they can’t avoid those circumstances here. But sometimes accidents happen no matter how careful you try to be. I have a truck (not bus) license and the things I had to learn to do on snow and ice were pretty scary tbh, but once you get the feel of how the vehicle behaves, it gets easier. It’s like riding a motorcycle, you have to “learn” it again every spring. Drive safely and happy miles!
As a quiet and introverted Italian, I am quite in awe of Finland: it really sounds like a shy person's paradise! I should definitely visit it! By the way, here in Italy light hair have always been regarded as a sign of beauty. For example, Botticelli, a painter from the Renaissance, painted many light-haired women. In particular, he painted Venus, the Roman goddess of beauty, as a young woman with strawberry blonde hair. It is probably because here it isn't common and so it becomes more noticeable and striking.
@your alien overlord I guess it is all relative. Anyway it would be refreshing to be told 'please shut up' instead of 'what's wrong? Why are you so silent?'
The biggest difference between Finland and Sweden is the color of the pea soup!!! In Finland the pea soup is green and in Sweden yellow...brown or whatever. I think this is a funny fact. I used to go to school in Sweden and Finland. Go and check it.

Finnish girls are the best; I should have pursued more for a wife when I was living there, though some Finnish women are interested in living in America, and some not so much. I kind of wish that this part of Finns being good in bed would be kept a secret; I don't want so much competition, however I am not so young anymore and might be out of the competition anyway and no longer traveling to Finland, though I should when COVID is over.

What a wise comment, I always ask the same question as you have commented. Finns always try to use the weather as a reason for being depressed. Northern parts of Sweden, Norway and Canada have similar even worst weather/darkness too but they are not depressed like what Finns are. So why they don't do a study and come up with concrete reason.

At on time, all the people in the world had brown eyes and dark hair. They believe there was a genetic mutation that produced blonde hair blue eyes. It is believed that all blue eyed blonde haired individuals descended from this mutation. The geneticists now have traced the original mutation to Finland. Unsurprisingly, 70% of all Finns in Finland are blonde blue eyed. From Finnish American who is blonde and blue eyed 👩🏼 BTW, I have never had any complaints 😉
@@AleksiHimself Last year, I was watching a channel about two Finnish boys. They lived in a rural part of Finland. When the youngest started preschool school, he started learning English. It’s a shame but they stopped adding videos to their channel. They produced some very interesting and funny videos.
My geology research partner at the Univ. of Vienna is a native of Budapest and he always told me he wanted to marry a Finn because of the bond of the origin of these 2 rare languages sharing a common genesis. He in fact did marry a Finnish girl. With respect to Asian eyes I ran into a video on TH-cam on the subject that Pres. JFK had Asian eyes due to his Irish DNA. There was a discussion on this topic.
Hmm, there is not only blond and blue eyed finns :) There is alot of pretty men in finland who are tall dark and handsome, so my question is... why is the myth that norway, sweden and finland just have blonds with blue eyes ?????? :D
I think the blue eyes are a lot more common, but there ARE "true/pureblooded" Finn families that have brown eyes, or dark brown hair or both... But I think they are 1 in 15 or 1 in 20? Maybe tourists don't think they are Finns when they see these families? I saw a document about how it is common to bleach your hair in Sweden, when compared to Sweden's neighbours? Maybe people are just confusing the blond Swedes with their neighbours?

Some Finns probably have good chance to be good in bed,as long as you got them in that tiny bit of gap between being drunk and falling into coma.
I find it hard to believe what they say and for the sake of science I want to check it myself hehe😉
😎😎
At on time, all the people in the world had brown eyes and dark hair. They believe there was a genetic mutation that produced blonde hair blue eyes. It is believed that all blue eyed blonde haired individuals descended from this mutation. The geneticists now have traced the original mutation to Finland. Unsurprisingly, 70% of all Finns in Finland are blonde blue eyed.
From
Finnish American who is blonde and blue eyed 👩🏼
BTW, I have never had any complaints 😉
It's a really funny video but I wish you checked the subtitles. They need fixing 🙂
The Finnish also start learning English in preschool. No wonder they speak such good English.
Not sure if it's at preschool unless it's an international one. At least back then when I was a kid, the official teaching started at 3rd grade.
@@AleksiHimself Last year, I was watching a channel about two Finnish boys. They lived in a rural part of Finland. When the youngest started preschool school, he started learning English.
It’s a shame but they stopped adding videos to their channel. They produced some very interesting and funny videos.
It’s a good news !
Thanks for the comment Mayline Biltoft!
Hmm, there is not only blond and blue eyed finns :) There is alot of pretty men in finland who are tall dark and handsome, so my question is... why is the myth that norway, sweden and finland just have blonds with blue eyes ?????? :D
It's just a stereotype. :)
Was Wondering why my Finnish boyfriend is so shy and talks less all he does is smiling but I got the answer here haaha thx
