Very helpful video. This showed me how to change one of my burnt out lights. I think the original lights from it (because mine is 2017) don't last that long. I think the LED's will last longer. However, I bought a set of LED's and not all of them work. So, I thankful that I got 12 in the bag, because 3 didn't work nor come on. I thought I was doing it wrong, but finally, the 4th one worked and shown bright. So, maybe the LED's are not having a good manufacturing process yet.
Good to hear that I can help. BUT, as far as LED, you might have to turn them, some are directional and will only work in one way. Just saying, if im not too late. LOL
Have to say thank you for this one I was having a hard time with finding some things so I could figure out how to change out my map Light from the regular one to the LED my center dome light went out so you helped me with that as well I am just decided I’m gonna go full LED just like I did with the map light and my headlights
Okay, I decided to sub after looking at your other videos. Here's a question where you might make a video one day. I keep having an error message pop-up on my display that says (for Kia Sorento 2017) that says, "Led Low Beam" (or something like that). And, I bought bulbs but they don't seem to lock into the housing correctly. So, I think the Canibus in one of the lights failed or not giving the correct response to the computer system. But, I'm hoping a new bulb on both sides will fix the issue. I thought it might be the dome light being out and the license plates lights were out, but I changed bulbs and now they're working -- no problem. So, I guess the LED two bulbs have been in for 2 or 3 years, so maybe, the little box adapter for them isn't working correctly. And, they also seem a little dimmer than they should be.
Okay. Number 1, you didnt specify of the light was an adtermarket or not. Secondly, yes, Hyu and Kia implemented the German style headlights. Learned that the hard way with that exact car. Looking back at it now. I wish I made a video with that 2020 Sorento. I replaced ALL of the lights in that truck. Learned about what yoi are talking about now, the bulb not fitting properly. There is an adapter out there that locks the headlight in place properly if you decide to go aftermarket. And yes, you need the canbus "ballasts" to work properly or it will give you an error message. I would upgrade to Morimoto, or the TRS, www.theretrofitsource.com/?&gclid=CjwKCAiAjrarBhAWEiwA2qWdCFt-CoINKCQ1KPfBbDiE9s00wNolfJVhjILUBQxC-TLu76bCPNxNkBoCb6cQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds . These guys know their shit, but expensive. I hope that helped in a way. Thanks for the support.
Thank u so much. I want to do the same. Repace all interior bulbs for ledlight.. A have a question.. Where did you buy the tray cargo liner?? I'm looking for one but I have'n found it yet..
www.weathertech.com/kia/2019/sorento/cargo-liner/ Sorry been sick. I found this, but I can ask owner if it is not what you want. Let me know if you need me to.
My Left Map light keeps working and then not working. I replaced the light, and it still does the same things. Any clues on why this is happening? It's a 2019 Kia Sorento all other light work with no problem.
Is there a pattern you can narrow down? Meaning, does it turn on when you start the truck then shut off after certain amount of time? Or always on and then shut off when the truck is off? Is it the one you press in to turn on manually? You are suppose to be able to turn on manually and it gets overridden when you open the doors. There should still be a pattern. But say you hit a bump and it turns on or off and vice versa when you hit a bump again. That would mean a connection problem not a bulb problem. See if the metal contact is corroded and maybe clean it with a wire brush, razor or anything sharp to make a better contact.
Are you referring to the light that is in the 3 minute mark? If so, I show you how to put it back in. You can use the same method to remove the factory one. OR, you can just push the metal tab outward and it should fall in your lap. The metal tabs hold it in place with just tension. If you relieve the tension, bulb comes out.
If it is the same body style, yes obviously, lol. But if it is the new new bodystyle, I am not sure, I have not touched one yet. But for the most part, most overhead lighting is similar, most are snap in place and you just have to be the gentle giant to figure out how it pops off. Most need these tiny screwdrivers or pry tools to remove them.
Absolutely complete description without playing games with wording. Very great video 👏👏👏
A formal bow to you kind sir..🤣🤣🤣

So what size light bulbs are you using?
What I feel are the right ones, the link is in the description.
Auto connections, qué tipo de luces de interior LED debo usar para mi Kia Sorento 2016?
Hay tantas marcas por ahí que no puedo guiarte hacia las correctas. Solo pongo lo que me trae la gente.
Google translate. 😁
Hello, could you tell me which bulb was the license plate light is the same as the trunk?
Not sure. Theyre apps out there that tell you which bulb is for what. Sylvania is a bulb brand that has a good directory for what fits what.
Are they all the same size?
hi there, may i know the part # of the led you've used? im planning to convert my sorento 2019 to led as well. :) thank you so much in advance.

@@richideates thanks alot
Where did you get your lights??
Customer supplied. Most likely Ebay.
How did u take the vanity bulb out ?

How to make the cargo dome light on when the door opens?
Cargo lights usually are the ones you press on and off. Unless there is a switch that does it, you would have to rewire it if there is no switch.
Should use a fuse puller
Ya..depends on the size of the bulb though..thanks for watching
hey what brand did you use?
Read the previous replies..its in there..client brought them to me
This work for a 21 Sorrento?
