Well the screen seperates from the heat controls. That part I remember. But it depends on where it is. I cant promise you anything without looking at it. I wish I could be more help. Most of that stuff should be able to be seperated because I would assume they come in different colors. But who knows. I read that they stopped making that car because they had a recall they couldnt figure out. Not sure of the results though.

Nope..that ish sticks to EVVEERRRYTHING..🤣🤣🤣..including itself..in the colder months its easier to work with..but in the warmer months..you see and hear what it does..🤪🤣🤣

@@richideates Correct, I use punctuation and try to spell correctly which makes it's painfully obvious that I'm 68 years old. However, I'm helping a girl who is 27 to get Android Auto in her 2016 CRV-EX. I've installed several other head units and have learned that there's no amount of prep and learning that you can do before an install that is TOO MUCH. I paused and backed up and played and paused multiple times in your video to see what's where. If there are any better 2016-era CRV installs anywhere on TH-cam, I haven't found them 😒

If your asking me if I know if it will work by just swapping it that it will just work? I have no clue. I would think so. But with all this technology nowadays, who knows. I know with radios you cant and main computers you have to get them reprogrammed. But with heat controls? I cant imagine. But its from ebay and they have a 30 day return policy no matter what. So try it and let us know if it worked. I would guess it should becaase why would they put in a "code" in the heating system.?

You need the 3 wire setup for the 24 hr parking mode..if you dont want that feature..the the 12 volt socket is fine..

I would not know how to troubleshoot it without looking at it. I would see if there is a fuse for it first and go from there

Most likely. That or you might need to go to the dealer and have it reprogrammed for that car. I have seen both scenarios, but not 100 percent on this particular one. But Honda has been using codes forever

Oh hell no. But you dont have to remove them completely from what I remember. Doesnt the screen have a notch so all you have to do is just loosen them, not remove them all the way. I will go look

Use a magnet. If it sticks..its metal..if it doesnt..its aluminum

Nah. This car was brand spanky new when I got it. They all should lift that high. Are you talking about the arm itself, not the wiper correct? If so, yes, that was normal operation. I wouldve noticed it and it wouldnt have gone back so easily

@@richideates yeah I was talking about the arm. I tried today and the arm got to about 30/45 degrees and stopped. When I forced it to 90, I heard a noise and the hole arm came off. My wife and I haven’t ever tried to lift it so maybe it was stuck and I’m the one who needs a new spring haha

This one didnt have it. But im sure its the same way. Center speakers are usually the same size at 3.5 or so. I just looked and yes, it is a 3.5 as per crutchfield.

Hmm..is the handle to move the column able to be moved??

@richideates so the lever can move the column forward n back but recently it got stuck in the UP position and won't come down. The steering wheel rotates just fine.

@mohammadahmad0790 try not to pull down on the wheel when trying to move the lever. Instead, push up on the wheel as you pull the lever down. Usually you have to do the opposite to free up a stuck mechanism. Or whichever way its stuck. Is it the same lever that does both, up down and retract in out? If the in out part works, then you will have to take the dash apart and see if theres an obstruction or a loose bolt. Maybe something jammed up under the dash.?

Well..I cant just do that with a car that doesnt need to be removed..but I know what your saying..still getting better at this..thanks for the feedback..will keep it in concideration

The school pickup line? The nerve of some people. 😡🤬🤣. Just go around and see if the paint is on the other persons car. If it collided like that, the one who hit you should have paint scrapes on their car. I would call them out when you find them. But thats just me.
