Hi Gerda... I have only just discovered your wonderful work .... I too can 'see into things' as Leonardo termed it 'frottage' when the psyche takes over and images form, from within the painting. I have been using isopropryl alcahol to make my own inks and on its own too, for effect. You have really inspired me to use glazes, (as I have always admired how Turner used them in his scumbling techniques), textures, ethanol and so much more. Thank you! Das Endresultat finde ich großartig aber mir hat das Bild auch schon zur Hälfte der Fertigstellung gefallen :-) Ich hätte mal eine Frage. Lässt sich diese Technik auch auf einer großen Leinwand aus Baumwolle verwirklichen ( zerfließt da die Acrylfarbe darauf auch gut?) oder würden Sie auf jeden Fall Papier empfehlen? Liebe Grüße !
Kleiner Tipp: falls der Farbverlauf nicht so feinlinig wird wie gedacht (war bei mir so): mit sehr dünnem Pinsel auf noch feuchtem Papier nachhelfen und Striche wie gewollt ziehen ;)

Ja, warum liebe Gerda? Ich empfinde nicht, dass Du schon vorher auf etwas bestimmtes hinarbeitest und wenn ich mich da hinein fühle, würde mir irgendwie der Mut fehlen, weil ich nicht weiss, wohin die Reise geht. Früher habe ich das auch schon mal gemacht. Bei dir ist es aber sehr komplex und am Ende mit einer gelungenen künstlerischen Überraschung. Kunst muss man ja nicht verstehen. Während ich schreibe, fällt mir ein, dass ich harmoniebedürftig bin und das Kriterium ist bei deinem Bild für mich erfüllt. Ich hätte mal wieder Angst, Material zu verschwenden. Also lieben Dank für Deine Nachhilfe und herzliche Grüsse
Hallo Monika, ich weiß tatsächlich meist nicht, wo die Reise hingeht, und da hast Du recht - ich brauche manchmal einige Schichten Farbe. Da ich aber meist nur dünne Farbschichten verwende, hält sich der Farbverbrauch in Grenzen. Das würde mich, solange ich es finanzieren kann, auch nicht davon abzuhalten, meine Impulse umzusetzen. Je länger Du Dich mit der Malerei, auch mit den Werken anderer Künstler, oder auch mit den vielfältigen Strukturen, die die Natur uns zeigt beschäftigt, desto mehr "Ideen" oder Vorstellungen hast Du im Kopf, die bei einem solchen intuitiven Prozess auftauchen. Versuche mutig zu sein und auf Deinen Bauch zu hören, und habe auch Mut zum Misslingen oder zum Hässlichen, alles hat seine Berechtigung und seinen Stellenwert. Es gibt keine Harmonie ohne das Disharmonische . (Ich merke, ich werde wieder mal philosophisch - sorry! Ich wünsche Dir einfach viel Freude beim Malen!

Lieben Dank! Ich habe starke Föns, wie sie auch beim Friseur benutzt werden, die haben über 1000 Watt (eigentlich nicht gut wegen des Stromverbrauchs - ich weiß...) und einen speziellen langlebigen Motor.Bei kleineren Partien kann man auch mit einem Strohhalm die nasse Farbe verpusten.

Das kann man nicht so pauschal sagen, da die Farben der einzelnen Hersteller ja auch immer eine unterschiedliche Konsistenz haben. Und außerdem ist bei dieser Methode die Stärke des Föns entscheidend. Je schwächer der Fön bläst, desto dünner musst Du die Farbe anmischen. Am einfachsten ist es, wenn Du , bevor Du die Farbe aufs Blatt gießt, auf einem Probeblatt einen "Föntest" machst. Grundsätzlich gelingt es fast immer, wenn die Farb-Wasser-Mischung etwa so dünn ist wie Milch. Viel Erfolg und Spaß - und liebe Grüße Gerda

This depends on the paint you use. Just try it out on a sheet of paper to check, if the paint flows easily
