Cangqiong sounds gorgeous as always. Honestly, I've been following Cang since she was announced few years ago, so watching her is sort of like watching a kid grow up. I still remember how "everyone" in the fandom wanted Cangqiong English and whew, here we are! New cross-synth feature is amazing.

this is really good, especially considering she wasn't recorded with english phonemes.

Sounds more fluent and comprehensible singing in English...than Vocaloid voicebanks made for English.

whatever ai algoritm they got going on is so much better than yamahas vocaloid, maybe they just do more training time with more samples?

@@GloriaTheAnimatorI read in their blog that they use Diffusion Model since version 1.8. Just recently in version 1.10 they also added RLHF retakes.
Edit: also the latest GUMI voicebank are trained from the same recordings that is used by Vocaloid 6. You can look up TH-cam for the comparison, it's not even close.
Synth V keeps leaving me speechless.
When it comes to vocal synths, I can understand why some people explicitly want the robotic voice. I personally prefer more realistic synths, but more than that what I want is versatility. There are some recent banks that are very impressive, and even better, can produce a variety of tones.
I really like this tuning tho, because even tho you can hear the voice buzz on the consonants, it's got so much *expression* in it. I adore the articulation and the vocal fry. I love how she doesn't sound unsteady but still has that non-perfect vocalization and gives vocal sounds their character.
I also think the cross-lang synthesis in SynthV is amazing. I don't know how it does it haha
This is probably the most beautiful voice among all synthesizers. It sounds natural.

and second my point is that the videos in the playlist are intentionally suggestive and even sexual videos of miku. miku is 16 and regardless of if they claim she is “depicted as an adult” in the videos this person states miku is their favorite and she is canonically 16 as a character, and they are actively sexualizing her, do you really not see anything wrong with that..????

Compared to some of the other voicebanks in SynthV, Cangqiong sounds very unique as she has a very mature tone and doesn't sound as cutesy like some of the other voicebanks. I really adore her voice and can't wait for her full AI release! ^^

I'm definitely excited for the future of the MEDIUM5, I love this training, as it fully preserves the power of a VB Standard with a conventional recording method, and mixes Artificial Intelligence, with an exceptional fluidity, I would like to see more VB's integrated merely by re-sampling samples taken directly from their VB Standard, but yes, even if temporary the future looks promising for the Quadimension team.

A= Not really, she uses Cross-lingual Singing Synthesis technology, which gives her the ability to sing in Chinese, Japanese, and English natively.
What is Cangqiong AI Plus?
A= It is a beta, which uses voice samples from Cangqiong's standard voice bank to train an AI training model.

Wow, this is simply beautiful!! As much as I love Vocaloid having grown up with it, Synth V is a very, very strong competitor. Especially when it comes to singing in English.

I made someone listen to this and asked if they knew who it was and they legit said Adele and went through multiple singers. When I told them they still couldn't believe it was a robot. That's how good it is !

According to the livestream they have put the most effort into teto they were working on it for over a year. The small demos we have heard I think she sounds the best.

Can you upload Cangqiong's cover of Into the Unknown and the full EN version of Let it Go?
Tried to upload Into the unknown when it came out first, but it got instantly striked down and removed by TH-cam, so I'm unable to do so. Even now every video of mine has ads not because i want to, but because of copyright stikes :( And I don't think full EN version of Let it go with Cangqiong exists, at least in Quad official/affilated channels.

Synthesizer V Studio Pro has an update that allows AI-voicebanks to sing in foreign languages - such as Cangqiong as a Chinese voice to function with English texts without having to do the phonetics-workaround.

Would you consider Cangqiong on the same stage as Solaria or Anri? I am looking into one or two female singers as well as a male singer. For the male singer, I am almost locked on Kevin. Cangqiong sound fluent in this song which is great.
Out of all released voices, Solaria is probably the best. Cangqiong AI is still not released, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem like she'll release anytime soon :(

The only Cangqiong we can buy for now is the Standard one, AI one wasn't released since they teased her in 2021, we only have demos from Quadimension. You can't do all that fancy English stuff without it.

I purchased this from TaoBao; however, it was a standard voice, not an AI. Is the AI voice still available?
Unfortunately, these Cangqiong and Muxin voicebanks were never made public :( The only AI voicebanks so far from Quadimension are Stardust and Minus.
