I wish I had the time and the money to start this hobby. i've not owned 00 gauge trains since I was 15 and through the marvels of creators like you, I get a glimpse of what I always dreamed of doing. Thanks Graham for another great video and for inviting us to see some of your running session!
Cheers for the very kind words. I really wish the costs of building and Running a model railway hadn't run away like they have. Better models in most cases, but at a real cost to the young blood in the hobby. I'm very glad you enjoyed the Running Session. Many thanks for an endorsement like that it's much appreciated. 👍 🙂
Despite the rising cost of new models you can get started with a smallish outlay if you look around at the local swap meets and exhibitions where items can be purchased at a reasonable price. You need to be careful what you buy unless you are technically competent to improve the running of the older locos. You don’t need a huge space either. As for time, hmm, now that can be an issue. Have a look around, you might be lucky.
@philkirk4571 yep I attend toy fairs regularly and would guess about 70% of my rolling stock is second hand. I just buy the odd new treat now and then when the price is right. 👍🙂
@@WHP1980s maybe some videos with the emphasis on how much you can save from such events would go a long way to educating people such as me. Thanks for the idea's though guys, I will certainly be taking a look.
What a magnifcent testament to all your dedication and hard work Graham. It is inspiration indeed, to see what one persons vision can manifest. All the best, and more power to you!
Many thanks for your kind words Graham. Always look forward to your vids and tutorials. Keep well mate. Hopefully continuing with my baseboard assembly shortly.
Another great video. The camera angles real show of your layout and all the hard work and dedication you continuously put into it. A real inspiration. Many thanks.
Yep, love the bus with butler and harper, used to go to Fishpools as a kid, play lego, see santa 🎅 and look at the tropical fish in the cafe. That was in the good old days. But it's nice to know they are still trading. Cheers 🙂 🍻
Excellent running session Graham. Love the camara positioning, Great to watch, ATB Stuart
Thanks for dropping by Stuart. Atb Graham 🍻 🙂
