Thank you thank you when you said loft beams l can hide them with this,l have 2 going at an angle in front of the back scene ,thank you again 😊your layout is top drawer and good luck with selling at the fair. All the best Colin from Mossend railway oo.
We're still learning as we're building our 1st layout but, we love watching your videos and learned so much from you.. The latest one on the Embankments was Amazing.. and looked almost real when shown from track level 👍
Thanks so much for the great feedback, I love to hear from people getting something out of watching the channel. It makes it all seem worth the work. Good luck with your layout build, and I hope you enjoy the process as much as I do. Cheers Graham 😊👍
I think we all need to be inspired sometimes with our layouts and well done Graham you have inspired me (as did GETS for you) to build and improve some of the embankments on my layout so thanks for that, regards Barry. 👍👏
Looks good. I’ve been watching “night shift” on TH-cam, an incredible modeller. When he does a diagram a he sprays it black first then adds light colour to give it depth. I might try your technique and his combined then add the flocking after. Well done chap
That looks awesome mate similar to what I saw when I worked for SWR you’ve captured it to perfection I can see Pete waterman giving you a bell bud Cheers Mark 😊😊
Nice job Graham, I did notice the brush myself, the rubberised horsehair is a new take on an old scenic source, long gone now, I did chuckle at the price of some small squares at GETs, as always if it for modelling it cost more than a upholstery supply.
I think it's coconut these days, not really horse hair 🤔 but still a useful product to add bulk to your scenery. Has worked well for me. You don't need much to create a good effect, but I take your point about the price of the stuff being sold in the hobby. 😁👍
Might work, done that in the past, and they looked obvious that they're there to hide the rafters. Will have to see, but a valid point all the same. Cheers 🙂 👍
Looks great 👍
Cheers 👍

Glad you found it worthy of an attempt. I was amazed myself as to the outcome. Cheers Graham 🙂 🍻

What about some trees to hide the uprights, which will hopefully blend in with the undergrowth. John
