Leica "screw" cameras!!! 😊 The most beautiful Barnack's Leica, to me, just the right size to my hands. I had one, unfortunately, traded it to an M3. Simple and very good video. Thanks
Very informative and clear presentation about Leica IIIg. Have to ask about other videos which talk about clipping the end of a film roll when loading the film into the camera. Is this necessary to use scissors to clip about 1 1/2 inches of the film to load the film? Can we see some samples of photos shot by the IIIg-often hear about how sharp the pictures are.
Some trim films when loading a Leica, others don’t. It doesn’t need to be exact but make sure you cut between sprocket holes. Pictures aren’t particularly sharp by modern standards. If you want modern lens performance, something built in the 1950s just won’t deliver.
