Sir, great respect for you . You re really practicing hinduism (sanatn dharma) the way it should be done - very unlike the concept of hinduism spread by the newly converted christians of Hare Krishna , who are basically killing the very essence of Sanatan Dharma and are projecting hinduism as any other GOD based religion like christianty, judaism ,islam etc.Being a hindu I'm not against any practice or belief but I feel that the sanatan dharma is not correctly projected to the western world .To my understanding Sanatan dharma could be something close to Paganism , WICCA, Druids etc of the west and this fact could build the bridge between the east and the west. HInduism, buddhism, Daoism atc are all talking about and providing the humanity the practical tools using which we can tune into higher frequencies and eventually try and get as close as possible to the ultimate universal consciousness , through Yoga, Pranayama, Pratyahara, dhyana and samadhi . So, I must appreciate your endeavour in showing the western world what the real hinduism is. Once again thanks from the core of my heart.

Can one imagine creating an unconventional life in the rigid Indian society. Especially back in the days of classical era some 2000-3000 years ago leaving society to live in Isolation that was suicidal no wonder they perform their own Shraddha Karma and head out to the oblivion.
Surely the notoriety for these people today as the lazy bums escaping the duties of normal life and living a life of luxury on donations is in Stark contrast of how the whole Shramana movement started. The Sharamans are non-conformists in a highly conservative Indian society but Indian Society today is unbelievably different and the community of Sadhus has a paradoxical way in which it exists.

through meditation (vedas). Hindus main aim is
enlightenment, Liberation, freedom from birth and death. God is secondary to
them, In the Gita, God guides him (Arjuna) to enlightenment and righteousness (Dharma)
not to stick to him. Hindus are seekers, not believers ( like other religions).
Hindus follow karma yoga (good actions). Meditation, Yoga, self-knowledge (who
am I), penance, watching breath are primary to them and book/s are secondary to
them. Other religions concept is one god exists but Hindus concept is the only
god exists in everything and everywhere nothing else. Hindus say body and mind
do not belong to you one day you have to leave them. Only your real self is
yours find out that you ll be enlightened
