True story Chad, I’m the biggest BB fan that ever existed I saw them right before they blew up and have been a fan ever since. But it was once you joined that took it to the next level. when you left the band the soul did as well. Like when Jason left Metallica for me same thing … I know Shaun, good guy but he looks like he’s doing it but not digging it. Get me? Miss you my guy

Great drummer but inconsistencies in story/white lies. He said he was new to double bass pedal, put there’s a video on TH-cam from 1998 where he dominates the double bass pedal. Also, there are no other angles on TH-cam showing the pedal broken. Not saying it didn’t break but yeah

Why would he fake his pedal breaking? Lol And he didn't say he was "new" to playing double bass, he said he "wasn't a big double bass player at the time", implying he knew how to do it, but was probably rusty. The VHS tape was made ~2005, so that's 7 years since the 1998 clip you're talking about. Any musician could become rusty in that amount of time if they aren't playing regularly, and I mean, he said himself was busy working in a factory at the time.

I knew Chad through his band switched. I was in that 1998 guitar center watching the drum off when that VHS was filmed. Thats my upload of that video. He wasn't a big double bass player what so ever at the time in the late 90's until a few years later when he joined Switched. Which he still played very little double bass in a nu-metal band
