Just to watch them break the surface on a flat calm, stunning. And to be honest, its been a great journey to watch, the good and not so good weights…keep em coming Joe 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🎣🎣🎣 great vids as always 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🎣🎣🎣👍👍👍
nice to see how excited you get, with how the match turned around. great finish nice result end one more experience to remember. Great video Joe Loved it
@@MatchFishingFilms thanks to analyze how the match whas for you and giving people tips and tricks how they can target a match next time. really gonna try when it can be done to dubbel feed a swim, first time i hear about it, but makes alot off sence now
@@MatchFishingFilms i know you're not using braid at the moment, but I found a channel on TH-cam testing braid in our lab with all the equipment ( The Line Laboratory )
Well fished Joe great result especially this time of the year shame you didn't start short from the start like the ones around you but I think you will have it sussed next match Looks a great venue 🎣🎣
Result. I think the main mistake (if you can call it that) you made was to forget the basic rule of Match fishing. Watch your fellow anglers and react accordingly. You did, however nearly 2 hrs late. I will say what a recovery you made. Stunning especially at a place called Boddington. Overal 3rd, 2nd in section, who would have thought that would happen less than 3 months ago. Well fished Joe and I really believe that you are very close to a Maiden Match win there. Great video. Cheers
So glad you put the blank on Joe, sorts men out from the Boys good days only show up if you have something to compare them with. As you said this may have been a missed chance, but we'll done.
I watched that video when you got water whacked if that was me I’d have to fish for a roach or something just to get 1 in but it’s the thought process in the videos I like an not just sitting on a flyer on a heavily stocked commercial like some videos It takes pressure off people trying to learn and that it happens to the best of them keep up the good work
Well each cast is 30minutes so it's only four casts and as can be seen often you get fish in quick succession. So what if you drop short and miss out on the fish that could have turned up long? it's a real mental battle at the venue
@@MatchFishingFilms That's cool, i get yeah. Sorry for sounding so hard, truth is you were sticking it out which often is the way to go... But also often NOT the way to go,,, which is why match fishing is so fascinating and your video highlights this dilemma more than any other video. Great job.

Great video these Joe keep them coming good angler love the in depth of how u felt at the time and what u think on doing next
Thanks for watching
Nice one Joe.
I wish it was a fair bit closer to mid Somerset home, would be there often methinks.
It's a great venue and really interesting
@MatchFishingFilms your series has really got it down on the '2025' to do list 👍
Hi Joe, great videos, please keep them coming. How did you fish an elasticated feeder with a long stem ?? Cheers
I’ll do an in depth video on the kit, should be out next week

On these matches roach only count if you have a carp anyway so in context of the match it wouldn't have mattered :)
Great video Joe well deserved
And commited to the method required.
Can you let me know what size landing net you used for these sized fish
Its a 22in super skuupa but a deeper sample I've been trying
Fun watching you fish Joe! What pellets do you use if I may ask? And do you add colour and-or flavour?

Wow Joe comeback of all time!
Coloured water kills many places but knowledge from others put you right
Hook bait?
3rd is brilliant
Bread or pink wafter
Them rods any good for distance bream fishing Joe?
They may be a bit harsh
Was you not allowed to spod a good bit of bait out or catapult 8mm pellets on a closer line?
@@JasonCullum-b2o it’s feeder only so you could have used a bait up. A few tried it but it didn’t work 👍🏻
@MatchFishingFilms you would think with the amount of big fish a good bit of bait would help
Sometimes I’m sure it would work
What landing net head do u use Joe? I’m struggling to find one big enough for this sort of fishing that isn’t too deep when a fish is in it
Cheers
It’s a sample net I’ve been trying. It’s just a bit deep though
Well done mate! Did you add extra flavour in this coloured water?
No I just used my normal mix that I've described in previous videos
How can u fish those matches? Are the open.
Yes open matches, they are usually full
Told you class will always come to the fore
:)
On bread? 🤔
