Yeah.. Super capable helicopters that we like a lot. But we have many problems with them. The worst is that we can't get spare parts. We might replace them.
Their not landing has nothing to do with the size of the helo, it's quicker and easier to do the rescue the way they did. And waaaaay less liability. It's actually extremely hard to land on a moving vessel at sea even if the helipad and helicopter are size equal.

@@Pow3llMorgan It's under the command of the Joint rescue command centre. which technically controls every branch of the military, that has a rescue team. The heli and it's personal is hired and paid by the Air force, but is mostly used with the navy.
