I use an cycling winter ”overall”, made out of windstopper and lined with microfleece. I wear it under my motorcycle jeans, and there is no need for that ridiculous looking and ridiculously expensive apron. Regarding the Tom Tom, you can buy a Yamaha kit which replaces the handlebars central cover, the one with the logo. Optional is the USB charger, and you would need a Y cable, to connect it to the lighter plug. The holder is around 100, the USB charger around 35, and the cable 20. All euros. But since you like to buy ridiculously expensive Yamaha accessories, spending another 150 -160 euros, would not bother you...
Hi @1zangland Thank you for your thoughts on the Yamaha apron and an alternative fitting for the tom tom mount. when i bought the Tricity 300 i wanted to buy the Yamaha accessories and like many of us was shocked at the cost but i also wanted to share the accessories and costs to viewers on the channel so the viewers could then make their own choices. Hi, I see you got the Knuckle Visors... found them from yamaha £106, is that something you would recommend? I had trouble last season with cold fingers when it got a little cold outside.
Hi @borger9952 i won’t say they are fantastic grip covers,but i also have heated grips and in combination they help with the cold weather to keep your hands warm. Regards PSR.
Hi Rick-ve51x yes that’s correct, we use Tricty 300 more for pleasure so we don’t ride at night and avoid riding in the rain if possible but of course we can get caught out with rain. We are both looking forward to summer. Regards PSR.
Tricity is wonderful bike-scooter but the problem is that it is too heavy for 300 cc engine. I think it would be much much better with a 450cc engine one cylinder
just done over 250 miles today, 6 am til 9am the snowflake never stop flashing it also came back on on my return journey that apron would have been ideal :( How much was it to fit or did you do it yourself
Hi waynetyson5239 i ordered a few other parts for the Tricity 300 so there was no labour cost for that too fitted. But i would imagine half hour labour. The garage fitted it for me with the other items i ordered. Regards
Hi, I fitted this to mine yesterday but found the knuckle gaurds interfered with the apron and heat grip throttle wire. Do you have an issue with these?
Hi @edwardsp1916 i did not find any issues with my apron on the knuckle guard or heated grips. 🤔when the dealer fitted my apron i checked for any problems everything seemed fine. Regards PSR.
Hi robcrusoeakarobb556 we have tried peugeot and piaggio but we went for yamaha purely because we like the Japanese quality and reliability. This was our personal choice. Regards PSR.
Hi @@robcrusoeakarobb556 we never owned peugeot or piaggio but had a full day at Arjian Brouwer in Putten testing them all and in our opinion the Yamaha seemed the right choice for us. But other riders may think differently it’s all personal choice.
@@pictureskyriders981 yes I’ve watched lots of reviews and they say the Yamaha is more like a bike in the way it handles - I’d love one but can’t afford it just now and I think they’re more expensive than the MP3

RAM Mounts do a cast ally bracket for the mirror mount. Very stable
