Made a video showing the difference in audio levels between phones on the Rockford Fosgate system

- The reason why I'm making this video is because when I initially listened to the Rockford Fosgate audio system on my lowrider ST, I couldn't hear anything. Doing some research, I found out that it's only my phone the Pixel 6 Pro that is having an issue not the brand new audio system.
if you're still having this issue, enable developer mode by pressing the build number in about phone under settings a bunch of times. then go back to the main settings screen and click developer mode. find disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload. reboot the phone. that should fix it
also make sure that Absolute volume is turned off. some were having DAC issues as well and the most recent update should fix that
The last amp software update fixed my issues. Now just playing around with the amps avc lol

I have been waiting for mine at least I know my latest Samsung will work. Who installed the sound system in your ST you or your local dealer?
You're welcome! They just updated the firmware on the amp to 3.8.5.0 and all phones should work now. I know mine does finally! I actually installed it. I have a video out on the steps on installing it. The hardest part is de-pinning the two plugs. As I didn't have the right tool to do it. So I used a sewing needle and a safety pin.
Could it be eq settings on the phone perhaps? I can’t wait to get my st in :)
No, I played around with that. If I connect the iPhone first then connect the pixel it plays fine. So it might be a firmware thing on the speaker system. 🤷🏻♂️
@@motorcyclemishifts4640 new products have bad codes (bugs) alot, makes sense. How do you like the st and the audio system so far?
Bike is great! She sits right in the torque range on the freeway. Just waiting on a seat so I know what size risers to get. And the bung king lower crash bars. But she's almost right where I want her. The audio system with a work around is great. Once they sort out the firmware it'll be even better.
Me too ordered the gray-colored one... So excited! HD messed up by not adding audio to this awesome bike!
Is the audio worth $1000 plus labor (if not owner installed)?
It all depends. It sounds good, it works, but you could also buy a comm system for a full face helmet for way less. If you want to save money, do it yourself. If you don't want to send the money or buy a comm system, wait and see if someone else makes something cheaper.
Your dealer is charging you 1k for installation? That's a load of crap, I installed myself in a few hours
@@J_BLAZE415 Most dealers are charging approx. $500 labor.Gonna screw the customer until no customers left.
@@bobberguy1 500 is still a little high but not outrageous. 1000 is just ridiculous for a 2 to 3 hours of work. Harley is absolutely ripping customers on bike prices and labor right now.
i installed mine on wednesday night. Took an hour and 2 beers, im not mechanically inclined in the least bit. Every install makes a big deal about the pin removal, ignore that and use a paperclip. You dont need a special tool.

The newer Samsung phones would def have a better bluetooth output.
