@@scotttheo97 BMW was a bit of faster on the corner exit, he will win the race if he doesn't push someone out of the track. Nevertheless, you cannot call a ramming attempt fair.

If you wanted any confirmation about the accuracy of the constellation layout in particular parts of the world, as a born and bred Aussie, I can confirm spotting the Southern Cross in the evening sky during laps 2-4 of Mt Panorama just off to the right of the track when heading up mountain straight. Great to see!

I love the Mazda’s did my gr.4 race with it today and had first the whole race messed up on one turn ended up in second. Favorite brand so far

Learning that car setup is pretty vital on this game. The TH-cam channel Harmonic has some good tutorials. Personally I hope they go to a 2 category race style with stock and custom setup. Because these top setups are going to vary wildly from car to car and track to track, which will eventually become confusing.
Counterintuitively, it’s not important at all because of the matchmaking system. If you drive the worst car with a bad setup, you could find yourself racing against someone with an OP car and a great setup if they aren’t great at driving. If you can set 1:45 lap times, you’ll be placed in a lobby with people setting 1:45 lap times. Car performance and setup only matters in the absolute top split.

Do you think you could make a profile for the Asian circuit, like you did for the Americas?
I really like how you race against others in the region. More specifically, the flags under which they race. It's a bit like the premiership. I really like learning, and identifying, new flags.
Can we do that for the Asian region?
This is certainly something I plan to do at some point

That was a beautiful fair pass, epic fake right to left.
He went so fast at the end, it’s not his line, it’s his rpm’s, he doesn’t go to the next gear just to come back down, he revs the shit out of usually 3rd to maximize mph, that’s how he went so quick. Ur shifts are fluid, great for longer races. But when gas and pits aren’t an issue. Abuse the rev in lower gear, you’ll lose a couple tenths every lap for sure

Hey Steve, would you be able to do a video explaining how the points work in the drivers and manufacturers cup. I’ve tried researching it and I can’t get the same answer, from what I can gather from the Chinese whispers is that your points from the best 3 rounds count but the last race you did in each round count as your points in the end. As I say, I’m quite confused and from what I’ve read many others are as well
I honestly can say that I learn a good deal from your track experience (mistakes included) but unlike you I never put any thought into why I crashed or didn’t make a turn correctly. After watching you and how you put so much thought into just the next turn to make your races as perfect as possible, I took up this focus as well and I can definitely say I’ve improved in every aspect.

On the lighter side of things: when you started lap 9 and went “uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…hhhhh…hhhhh” I laughed pretty hard just because of how this race has gone for you. I personally think you should make that one of those twitch things when someone donates or something.

All my game progress was reset after the PS network went offline the other day. All my cars gone Cr. gone Cafe menus licenses everything! I was collector level 39 now it’s back to level 1!! why isn’t this issue being highlighted more?🥺

Qualifying laps should be done alone on track.. Not with all participants.

I doubted this car was that good. I bought it after fighting the R8 race car around the 24 minute le mans for literally 5 days. Won after the second race. I was doubtful as the race started as I usually have a few positions within the first lap, but after sticking it out I notice a lot lower presence of Robert Banding and Carl Spin and I managed to take the W.

Decided to try the Manufacturers today, boy what a mistake. Nurburgring with race cars and it was like playing suicide bumper cars. People just don’t care to race clean. I think there should be some kind of automatic ejection once you get to a certain number of penalties for ramming. And that number should be 2.

Using both left and right feet for break & acceleration, doesn't it mess up your driving habits in the real world? I usually use only the right foot for both pedals. I only use the left foot for the clutch.
I know a few race drivers and all use both feet in normal driving too. I’ve never understood why that is even a thing. I was told because you can accidentally hit the wrong pedal but you can 100% do that with one foot too.
@@Boskibro I learned not accelerate and break at the same time, which is less possible by using just one foot. Currently I drive a manual gear, so I need the left foot for the clutch. I am just concerned if a racing wheel might mess up with my habits.

I thought I heard somewhere that if you want a “real” experience or something or maybe it was something like “real racers don’t use ABS or any assists” but SuperGT said he had ABS on default and ADS. I recently got into road racing as I’ve been into rally for a while (casual but still played a lot and no road) and Gran Turismo Sport was my first since the PS2 days. So I’m not sure if I’ve been putting myself at a handicap or what but I’ve even playing GT7 with no assists. What is the general thought on the whole thing.
I maxxed out my ‘16 mustang Shelby350 and it’s impossible to drive with zero assists. Even at like 30km/h coming out of a turn the torque is so much you go for a spin if you even touch the throttle before you’re perfectly straight.

BMW covered the inside then tried to move to the outside to block, then tried to move back to the inside when you went for it. He was moving a lot that was 100% his fault. Pick a line and defend it.
If you get past with no or minimal contact (they may have traded paint but nothing more than that), then a pass is fair - last corner, first corner, any corner. He left a gap and Steve took the invitation. Some Brazilian dude who was quite good with cars as I seem to recall said something about gaps and being a racing driver. Too many people taking their snowflakery from social media to the track. Great move; great win...

I think controller and wheel players should be split when possible. My best time on a controller in Brazil Daily GT3 is 1:33:8 but was consistently getting high 1:32s when using my friend's logitech setup. Gives us controller users a massive disadvantage when match-making.

Neither are at an advantage. Controller players get quicker inputs, wheels are more precise.
