    A tremendous tutorial. Thank you for sharing this. I've done a lot of photography, but being asked to do a newborn shoot is a nerve wracking proposistion. You've helped ease those nerves a bit. I'll have to follow you for more. Thanks again.

    Beginner here so I have a couple questions: Would the 64 inch plm be big enough or do you absolutely recommend the 86 inch? And would either of these still diffuse enough light for family sessions or would that be dependent on the light kit instead? And what should I look for when purchasing the light spec-wise?

      I’m not familiar with Godox, how low can you bring the power to? Also you just have diffusion fabric on your umbrella. When bouncing the light it really helps soften the light.

    • @momtogeducate
      @momtogeducate  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You need a “reverse” light stand or one that lays flat. This helps bring the light close to baby. This is very important 👍🏻 but when owning one, you may need to weight it down since the PLM is very big

      Lower it as low as it goes then until you can get a stand that lays flat. But bringing your light as close to your subject is best way to soften the light and reduce harsh shadows
