I spent my entire childhood building models. Cars, Navy vessels, tanks, airplanes, movie monsters and Star Wars vehicles etc. I even got really good at painting details like the dials and instruments on air plane control panels and carbon scoring on X-wings. This would have been my grail models.
I really have a feeling of deja'vu as I was there myself this morning at The 007. Really amazing what they've done in what is quite a small shop over three floors. The Golden DB5 has pride of place in the front window. They have the Lotus Espite on display too in the retail area of The 007.🍸
@@TheBondExperience Yes there is perhaps an opportunity to occupy one of the other shops within the Parade. Also did you see the Lotus showroom. There's a TSWLM Lotus S1 on display.
Could you imagine if Aston sold Caterham like Kit Cars, perhaps something resembles a DB Mark III? To nice a looking car to disappear and only to be found in the history books.
A toy is complete, a model requires a level of assembly. A 1/8 scale is a good choice, because the detail will be great. Has anyone ever raced them around a circuit? What about a display cabinet for the final result?
A superb model but if I may just get a touch fussy here….does it have the correct registration/licence plate style of lettering as per the film? Only the one featured in the travelling exhibitions and in the supplied Agora leaflet has the incorrect lettering. Finicky I know but it simply has to be right!
Is this one similar to the DB5 model kit that was released in a magazine a fair few years ago. Built mine myself. Some bits were therapeutic others were stress inducing 😂😂 Slight edit just checked and the one i built was by eagle moss not this company.
The goldfinger gold plated model isn't for the faint hearted buyer. • A deposit of £9,999 will be taken on 5th October with your order • Final payment of £15,000 to be made by 1st January 2025 (total payment of £24,999)

It's an immersive place that I truly hope they extend the life of!

No way! I've been thinking "wouldn't it be great if David would build the 1/8 scale DB5". And sure enough, here is the announcement 😄!
It's going to be quite a ride!
I have a Danbury Mint gold plated db5 with all working pieces. Looks like this one here. Will go and check this one out

HA! Therapy and stress seem to go hand in hand...
Is this place new? I walked (quickly) through this arcade earlier this year.
Relatively new and there till the end of the year!
My buddy bought me the Lego Aston Martin set and it took me 3 hours to build it lol
That's a good one too!
Roger Moore and Barbara Bach should also be included.😂
As an added bonus!
Ten minutes ago I didn't even know these were out there. Now I can't get my credit card out fast enough. #priorities
I know the feeling!
