MD 600 to Shoreham over London Heathrow during the second covid lockdown Feel free to say hi on twitch and hang out have a chat etc Twitch link / av8_cbs
Brings back memories for me, I flew N600SY back in 2003. Nice auto start-up with an American woman's voice saying, auto start-up initiated. Shoreham was also the base for a good friend that did my check flights on the Hughes 300 called Dennis Kenyon. He would travel up to Wales and do a bunch of us through the day but also give us a bit more tuition on perfecting autos without a run on and sometimes on sloping ground. I remember doing my first proper auto with him which he said was fine and we would have walked away from it but I'll show you what an auto without any run on is like. He also demonstrated a proper vortex state and not just the incipient stage that you do through your ppl training and its something I'll never forget. He had a knack of saying, you shouldn't do this when flying but I'll show you the result of doing this and how to recover from it. Nobody was spared and there was never a rush to be next in the seat because you knew you were in for the ride of your life. RIP Dennis

oh yeah I fly for a living , well not so much this year hence streaming
Good to see you landing in your 119 earlier this week near Taunton I watched you from my house, I bet the field was soggy?
hi there no it was ok ! the sheep poo was a hazard but I think I got away lightly :)
Great vid, how come they gave you direct at EGLL and not via the virgin hanger?
hi there, because there was nothing going on , no landings or take offs
Without a doubt the most annoying thing in the world! I fly in cockpit!
Great video! What airspeed does the 600 cruise at?
hi there if you push it then 140kts no probs, but 125/130 is more comfortable
I think at some point I would quite like to get a pilot’s license and a helicopter
you and me both ! but for now I shall just fly other peoples
