I appreciate your honest reviews. I recently saw some youtube Knotts videos made by a couple of ditzy women, a mother & daughter, who rated everything 10 out of 10 or 9 out of 10 and everything they ate was great, delicious, amazing, wonderful. Each time before the mother took a bite of something she would say "Here we go", then clap and wave her hands around like a five year old child after taking a bite. It was embarrassing to watch and got old fast. There were some foods that just did not look good with boysenberry, so I was surprised that they rated everything as being so good, like boysenberry mashed potatoes. No thanks! They gave the boysenberry sausage pizza an excellent rating and after watching your review I will not eat anything at that pizza place if I go to Knotts. Then in one video they announced that they were Knotts Berry Farm ambassadors, whatever that is, so they were shills! No wonder everything they reviewed was so good, and of course not everything will be good, as you have shown. Thanks again for your great work!
Awe thank you ❤️ - Honesty and integrity is a huge part of our channel. The thing is… we generally wanted everything to be good (or amazing). For years I have been wanting to visit Knott’s for the Boysenberry festival and as a kid I had fond memories of going to Knott’s and having great experiences, but being over a decade since my last visit, a lot has changed (and not all of it was for the best). We do have unreleased footage of the chicken dinner restaurant that was stellar. The quality there was top notch and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Chicken Dinner Restaurant. Service, quality, everything was amazing. After this experience though we realized that we are not really cut out for Theme Park vlogs or vlogging theme parks and decided to stick to Vegas for the foreseeable future so if you enjoy Las Vegas, we have plenty of that here on the channel. And much more coming. That being said, boysenberry festival has come and gone, but I am glad to hear that you got value out of the content and yes… Do avoid that pizza place if you ever go to Knott’s. There is no excuse for cold pizza - Even a lot of the pizza places in Vegas that we have reviewed will literally take that par baked slice and pop it into an oven to crisp it to fully cooked when ordered. That’s the bare minimum. Thank you for watching and for commenting. It means a lot to see the comment on this video ❤️ -Paul
Found your videos because of our love of Vegas. Quickly fell in love with the both of you. Watching all videos now just because of both of you. You make us so happy! Keep up the great work! ❤❤❤
Awe… thank you so much ❤️ - That really warms my heart to hear that and thank you so so much for watching and we really hope you enjoy the adventures that we share (and we also hope the content we make helps with trying out new or favorite things for your future Vegas plans) ❤️ We have new episodes every week so there will also be much more to come. -Paul
Have no doubts guys!! You are terrific. I love your videos. Your fun personable and informative. And I appreciate your effort to entertain us. Looking forward to your next video. So jealous you met Norma. She is a star. But so are you !!
Thank you so much. Glad you continue to enjoy the videos. Norma is definitely a star. It was really amazing getting to meet her. I was absolutely star struck when it happened. -James
Thank you for watching ❤️ - We didn’t want this video to come across as negative, but we did want to rate the food items and experience in the park as honestly as possible especially as we were also filming a “Perfect Day at Knott’s vlog” simultaneously on our visit (that one is due to be released before summer). That being said, day 2 didn’t go as planned as evidenced in the video but I will say that as long as Knott’s can improve on those areas of feedback that we mentioned in the video, this could be a really amazing event. -Paul
A true classic. I will never say no to a dinner at Mrs. Knotts. It’s what an old boss of mine would call “Exceptional Generic”. Something that someone from any walk of life can appreciate, and it’s just so damn good.
We were sure hoping to enjoy it as well. After wanting to go for several years, this was a bit of a disappointment. We may give them another chance in the future, but we are definitely waiting to see how the merger of Six Flags and Cedar Fair is gonna affect the operations of the park. -James
I think the biggest thing is that after seeing all the buzz online for years about the unique foods I was very excited, but the operations issues in the park and the lack of execution for some items really put a damper on our experience. We did buy FastLane for our first day so we could also film our “perfect day” vlog but it became apparent that Knott’s can staff well for a lighter crowd day like that Friday. But the pain points really show when the days are higher demand like the Saturday that had cheer crowds and weekend Boysenberry guests all on one. And as I mentioned in the video, I have been going to Knott’s since I was a child. I think if they can fix some of the food quality to get it on par with the great quality we had at the Chicken Dinner Restaurant, and work through the operations issues with better staffing all around, this could be an AMAZING event that rivals or even exceeds their competitors. -Paul
you should still go if you want to go. Opinions will be opinions. My experience was a good one and tried most of the same foods they've tried. Also into consideration it depends who makes the food that day, the cooks and chefs do rotate through the schedule. Overall in my experience, the goods ive experienced outweighed the bad. Yes bad because not everything is perfect. Look into other vloggers videos and maybe your final verdict will be different And yes, knotts is understaffed.... thanks for pointing that out
Oy vey 😢 1 Well.... The good thing is that we get to experience a full range of emotions on "James & Paul Try it All." 2 I had high hopes for the chicken mole fries. I'm offended by the cheese fries. That's awful that it just tasted like salt. 3 I can't comment on Knotts Berry Farms. If I was ever there, it was in the previous century and I have no memories of it. I'm not planning on going anytime soon. 4 Thank you for your sacrifice 🙏
Lol… I had high hopes for the whole experience, but it ended up being so not worth it. Now that Knotts and Six Flags have merged, I’ll be even less likely to visit them in the future. -James
"I don't know how we're even going to finish this up" Hmmmph....I don't know how I'm even going to think about food with that giant nose ring staring at me.
That’s fair, everyone’s entitled to like what they like and that sounds like more of a “you” problem. Thank you for watching and have a better rest of your day. -Paul
@JamesandPaulTryitAll For the record, I would like you to keep the nose rings. That way, I can probably pick you guys from out of the crowd. I want to buy you guys a drink, or a dessert or give you some cash for gambling content. 😊

I bought a lot of Boysenberry Punch concentrate years ago and used it mostly to make Boysenberry Ice Cream Shakes :-)
That sounds absolutely heavenly! We did bring some home. Gonna have to try that
-James
It's like a Purple Cow, but with Boysenberry :-) @@JamesandPaulTryitAll
I’m gonna be picking up some ice cream tomorrow for sure.
The Chicken Restaurant is really the best damn Chicken Place in California :-)
