Brunch at the Bellagio Conservatory is next-level! 🌺 Sure, it’s pricey, but you’re definitely paying for the whole experience-the scenery, the vibe, and the fancy dishes.
You’re absolutely right! It’s a whole thing! When you consider what you’re getting for your money, it feels worth it to me. For special occasions that is. -James
My Saturday morning is complete now that I've watched your episode!! You guys rock!!! Anxious for Sunday's episode. You make the start of my weekends so enjoyable!!!❤❤
You are so sweet to say that! We really appreciate the support! Thank you so much for watching and we’re thrilled that you’re enjoying our videos. -James
Once again another great video, my wife and I were stunned by the amount of food you guys had. Everything looked delicious. The scenery looked gorgeous. Looking forward to tomorrow's video.
Thank you so much! That’s so kind of you to say. We really appreciate the support and we’re thrilled that you enjoyed the video! We were worried that this one might not resonate with people due to the extravagant cost. -James
I somehow spaced and forgot the cheesecake was a part of it until they come out with it and I am like, “How do we even have the room to eat this?” 😮 That starter tower was a lot of food. And I get that’s the point, but we both felt so bad leaving a bunch of it. -Paul
LOVE the rope drop Vegas tip! We rope dropped the Conservatory at like 7:30, it was the best!! This experience looks incredible, and now this is added to the list too! Thank you guys for always showing the best experiences! 🩷
Hi @JamesandPaulTryitAll! My wife and I just wanted to say how much we appreciate the way you both approach your reviews. You do such an excellent job of offering viewpoints from both of you, which is so helpful! We especially love how you say things like, 'I really enjoy this item, but I have this preference. If you don't, you might find it overpowering,' and such. It makes your reviews so relatable and useful since taste is so subjective. Your attention to detail and thoughtfulness really stands out! We’re also planning to celebrate our first anniversary 🏳️🌈 in Vegas this December and would love to hear your take on a comparison between the Bacchanal Buffet and the Wynn Buffet. Your reviews are the ones we trust most, and it would be incredibly helpful for our trip. But no worries either way, we appreciate all your hard work and know you are super busy! If not a video, a reply with if you think one is better than the other or they are pretty equal is also great! One last thing, and I know it's a bit of a silly request, but the ding sound you use for the reminder bell scares our doggo, so we watch your videos with headphones on. If you could maybe pick a different sound, we’d love to watch on our TV instead! Thanks so much, and keep up the fantastic work-we love your content with or without the ding sound!
I am so sorry for the issues with the ding sound. I add it manually to the like/subscribe graphic template that I have but I can try turning the volume down on that specific sound effect going forward. Sometimes I forget to manually turn down the volume in sound effects but I think -14 or -17 in the timeline might help alleviate that. As for Wynn Buffet, we did their brunch on a recent trip, it’s mostly just trying to get our backlog edited and released. As mentioned in the anniversary video we go a bit wild with filming so we have a review of Wynn to edit, and I can definitely get that one out with some priority by the next few weeks at the latest which should hopefully get it out by your December trip. The short spoiler though is that (and people will likely fight me), I would choose Bacchanal over Wynn. Wynn has a lot of fans and they do use premium ingredients, they have great concepts and a diverse selection, I think it’s a great premium buffet, but I do feel that some items are underseasoned for my taste. You will still get great quality at Wynn, but I feel like Wynn plays it safe and has all the standards, whereas Bachannal goes for a bit more in terms of seasoning and even some unique or exotic items offered (like Sea Snails, Frog Legs, Bone Marrow, etc.) Granted everyone’s opinions are different and Wynn has its fans but we will definitely elaborate more on our opinions when we get the Wynn Brunch episode out. Thank you so much for the comment and we do hope you and your wife have a great experience in Las Vegas on your next visit. -Paul
@@JamesandPaulTryitAll Thank you so much for such a thoughtful reply! No need to apologize about the sound-our dog is just a bit unique with what startles her, so it’s totally unexpected! The fact that you’d even consider adjusting it is incredibly kind and so appreciated. It’s definitely not a common issue, much less one you’d expect from a random viewer’s dog! And thank you for the insight on Wynn vs. Bacchanal! It’s so helpful to hear your honest take on both. We’d absolutely love to see your Wynn Brunch episode, but no pressure at all on the timing. We know you have a ton of content to edit and release, so whatever works best for you is more than okay. We’ll be sure to catch it when it’s out. Your reviews are already a go-to for us, and we’ve been recommending your channel to friends. You’d be amazing reviewers for all kinds of venues, and if making it a career is a goal, we have no doubt you’ll rock it! Thanks again for all that you do!
I will say that one thing I did love about this experience was that it was just James and I at this table (and not communal dining) but we both booked the earliest time slot just so that we didn’t have to deal with crowds. That conservatory gets really crowded during the day because it’s a highly photographed place and a free attraction so the 7am time slot was perfect to beat the crowds and even the breakfast rush at Sadelle’s. And thanks for watching and commenting ❤️ -Paul
7am was completely the best call. We both love to be up early anyway, everything is quieter, less crowds, and you beat the rush. I noticed things got a lot busier in the conservatory as they were turning over our table for the 9:00am time slot. -Paul
How cool. I’ve never seen the conservatory that peaceful, and the food looks worth the bill. When four slices of foodcourt pizza can cost $60, it’s kind of a bargain.
The secret to the conservatory that quiet and not packed… The 7:00am Brunch time slot, get there before people wake up. The crowds started picking up after we finished brunch but it was still not too bad but after 9:00am it starts to pick up. Even if you just want to visit it just to experience the conservatory and not have the usual crowd of people, early morning hours ❤️ -Paul
The meal looked delicious 😋, especially that cheesecake. I truly appreciate you guys bringing this experience to us. I never knew that was something that was available at the Bellagio Conservatory. This is definitely a special occasion early morning dining experience. Thank guys great video❤
The funny thing is that I didn’t know it was even a thing either until we stumbled upon that table during “Winner Picks Dinner” and then when planning the July trip I was like, “We should do this” but lord is it pricey. -Paul
We are suckers for this type of experience. Ever since I decided to splurge on the Napa Rose Chef’s Counter on our last Disneyland trip many years ago I have always been one to want to pay the premium for this type of thing. This is totally not for everyone’s budget and this is definitely not something that we would do more than once (unless we had a celebration or something to justify it), but I highly encourage trying these types of experiences if you can and if it’s within your means to do so. It truly is “Magical” Reservations can be made on the MGM app or Bellagio website which should have a link. We do recommend booking as soon as you can and reservations open up about 60 days prior. -Paul
Loved the video. I think the exquisite service and beautiful, serene surroundings justify the price. Sometimes at the other high end restaurants it's extremely noisy with loud talking and clanking of dishes and silverware. This was very relaxing, and the mimosas helped even more with that. 😉
Awe thank you ❤️ I remember you mentioning about how much you love the conservatory a while back and so we said on that community post to “stay tuned” and after we released the “Winner picks dinner” episode we just had to go into the Bellagio website and inquire about booking the garden brunch on the July visit because it’s all the fun of the conservatory while having a beautiful meal. Though I will say the secret of it being so nice and quiet was booking the earliest morning reservation slot. You are liable to get a lot of the hectic outside chatter as more people are navigating the conservatory taking pictures. But this is definitely a bucket list item for anyone who loves a fine brunch and loves the idea of dining at an exclusive table in the garden. The current fall theme for the Garden Table looks like a cool little hobbit hut 🛖 (and Travel Ruby showed it off last week in her Bellagio video) -Paul
Paul’s watermelon shirt actually came from Target (I think), and my shirt actually came from a website called Atlanl. (cheap “fast fashion” style) Here’s the url if you want to see what they’ve got: atlanl.com -James
Thanks guys the place is beautiful, and the food looks great, myself , I would not feel comfortable eating there, I'm more at home inside, not in the middle of the conservatory, may be because I'm very private. Great Video James, Great video Paul!
I get it. This brunch is definitely not for everyone (and it’s quite expensive). But we are suckers for unique dining experiences and when I saw this was a thing on the trip prior I just had to figure out how to make it happen. And we got to turn it into a fun video for the channel. Thanks for watching and the comment ❤️ -Paul
Just added to my bucket list. Only problem would be the wife and I have horrible allergies and the conservatory really aggravates them. The price sounds high until you see what all is included. It looks delicious.
For us to justify the price (because let’s be real this is not cheap and usually too rich for our blood) we try to think of it as more of an entertainment expense that’s paying for an “experience”. Just as one would spend on a show or something else in Vegas. (And we spent about two weeks debating on whether we should book it but eventually decided to) But with everything included. There’s an entire tower of starters that is way more than one could ever eat. Each person gets an entree, and there’s the Prosecco and orange juice and even dessert and they will even bring you boxes to box up everything for you if you are lucky enough to have a mini fridge on your stay. So for what it is, it’s pricey, but it’s also a unique experience and they continually will be there to tend to your table throughout the meal so the service was impeccable. So it’s definitely a bucket list brunch and you should totally do it if it’s within your means to. -Paul
Don’t get me wrong. It’s a little rich for our blood too. We were debating for weeks whether we should book this when we got home from the May trip and we decided to because “you only live once” and it would for a fun video. But it was also a bucket list type of item so we hope this helps you add it into your bucket list for a future visit. So keep in mind that when the seasonal display changes every season, the dessert offering may change and it looks like they may swap out one entree from that list, but most of the starters, the Salmon Benedict and Steak and Eggs seem to be a constant. -Paul
Also, everything you saw that we ate can be purchased at Sadelle’s Cafe as well. It just doesn’t come as a prix fixe menu or with the fancy table. -James
