Just noticed there's 3 thumbs down currently for this video. I don't understand why anyone would give it a thumbs down. Crystal is 1 of the best teachers on TH-cam so I ask myself why?? There's no way anyone could give it a thumbs down because their item didn't turn out good since the video hasn't been out more than a few hours and I don't know anyone who can crochet that fast. Anyway, I love your videos Crystal.
I usually thumbs down things so that the TH-cam algorithms show me less of something.
This may simply have shown up on someone's feed who is maybe a gamer and doesn't crochet at all, so they'll give it a thumbs down because they don't want this or anything similar showing up on their feed.
Crystal you are the best teacher I've ever watched. I know there are new crocheters that need YOU so don't ever stop.

The 3dc, 1sc shell was the one stitch my mom used. I love this lacy version, perfect for warmer months where you don't want a heavy shawl.

@Bag-O-Day Crochet Crystal, my new thing is turning your rectangular shawls into boleros like you did with your daughter's Easter outfit this year. Just adjusted for adult size, I think for my sleeve length I stitched about 16 inches in from each side. Ok, I've only done one of your fairly recent shawls (you originally called it advanced, but re-uploaded it with a different name, the one with picots and a several row repeat) like that SO FAR, but itching to do more lol
Would love to see a tutorial on this with one of your adult shawls. As I've already made one by sewing the edges together, I don't need a tutorial, however, you might have an easier method to show or even an easier way to sew it.
