How many fragment(s) are you guys getting per hour?
Do you guys grind them out or simply do the 3,000 mob daily?
getting about 2-3 doing 3k daily with 130% drop rate
none when I farm my 3K mobs
Getting between 2-5 per day from ~30 mins of 3k mobs, think seems to have increased slightly after going from ~130 DR to ~170. No fz, regular server.
About 13 per hour sometimes 15 but that's rare I have 284% drop rate (140 from equipment, 100 from familiar, 20 from WAP/mini WAP and 24 from DHS)
I just do the 3k daily w my dr gear decent hs and legion dr buff on. I have a total of like 194% dr. on average, I can get as little as 2 and as many as 5 sol erda fragments by the time I’m done w the 3k mobs
Reboot here, I went pretty hard the first week to get some extra power and levels before attempting bosses. I did about 25 waps in total, I stopped keeping track of it after about 15 waps. At about 210% drop, I avg about 13 per hour. My best wap being 41 and worst being 11. The worst stint I've seen was 1 frag in 1 hour and the best was 10 frags in 10 mins

I work full time job, have outside of work responsibilities and relationships. This game is fun to relax and play but never should be a full time job on top of everything else.
as a kms player, the daily you guys have is a godsend. sol erda frags cost a lot in luna, so if i want to level up some skills i gotta drain my mesos real fast(and thats on top of buying gear progression & authentic force)
with 161% drop rate im lucky to get more than 6 per hour
The inconsistency is like with 60% dr i get 4 fragments in 5min to 150% dr 1 hour 1 frag. The inconsistency kills me
Same I feel like I get more fragments with lower drop rate. At 72% I get way more then when I boost it to 242% it makes no sense
ive seen 60 in a wap n seen 20 in a wap its rng you either get lucky or you don't . Love the content keep it up g
The KMS patch notes for New Age has a note that says the drop rate of Erda Fragments do NOT scale linearly-I'm pretty convinced that it scales logarithmically instead (i.e., there are diminishing returns on more drop rate). It would explain why GMS players don't seem to notice much of a difference between 300% and 400% drop rate, since theoretically we could be farming at the farther end of the curve if the drop rate formula is balanced around drop rate sources that KMS players have.
I'm not surprise if the soft cap is around less than 200% drop rate since KMS doesn't have access to fams

The drops average out the more you farm, I do about 4 waps per day.

Hour 1 - 7 fragments
Hour 2 - 16 fragments
Hour 3 - 24 fragments

look at tniru that guy almost has his 6th job maxed. that is with Frenzy though. but still goddamn.
One insight I can give is that I actually gotten frag drops at 0% dr, like rune -100% dr.
Just casually doing dailies and pop one frag so I think dr don't really affect it.

20 frags an hour is pretty high, most people avg like 15-18 from what I've heard/seen. It was also rumored that someone confirmed over in kms that the droprate on frags are capped at 200%
Kill rate matters when discussing these drops. I’m getting 16k kills per hour in Shang. I have 254 drop, 200 is from equipment, 10 from IA, 24 from HS and 20 from Wap. I get anywhere from 15-18 per hour. I’ve seen no increase when using fam drop so I don’t use it anymore.
i definitely get more than 20 per hour. farming with 394% drop rate in winter5 or autumn3 at 17.0k~17.5k/hr rates
My main concern in the long run *isn't* the low drop rate of the Fragments. It's the Sol Erda Energy & when the other 6th Job Hexa Skills & Stats will be unlocked.
Let's say we max out all of our current Hexa Skills & Stats (once satisfied). But Nexon hasn't unlocked any more Skills & Stats. Then we cap out on the Sol Erda at 20 & cannot gain anymore. Yet, we can't use them. Next thing you're more likely to do is train/grind until Nexon unlocks the other Hexa Stats & Skills. But all the time spent training/grinding for EXP also could've been used to gain more Sol Erda Energy. Think of the Sol Erda Energy that could be missed out during that time. All because we can't use the ones we have on hand after capping out.
have a feeling nexon will raise the sol erda cap, surely they must be aware that we’re approaching the 20-limit rather quickly off the gate
Now that 6th job is out I can finally finish 5th job on my one and only character.
I'm one of those that get anywhere from 15-20 fragments an hour, 384% drop, reboot, 15000 kph.
My most ridiculous was 50 fragments in two hours just two days ago, and my worst was I think 20 in the two hours, but that was literally the first day I started farming after 6th job's release.
In hindsight, I probably should have kept a personal record of all of this, but there's only been two days I've gotten less than 30 fragments in two hours, been farming 8 days so far.
All in all, according to my own experience so far, I think the drop rate is fine, especially if I'm comparing it to 5th job's release.
Definitely did not have any level 6 node 8 days in lol.
I got like 16 fragments per hour, in cernium, with no drop rate item at all, in msea
im a maplesea player and i get around 20/25 frags an hour with 240dr, i hunt about 100 to 200 frags a day
I actually wanted to know a different thing- do you think that frag drop rate is different between areas? Cause i feel like i get 3 times as much if im in odium than in arcus
I get 15 an hr in arcus, which was around the same rate i got in cernium, idk how much ur getting in odium but to me it just seems like high variance, and more related to killrate
I got four of them in like 100 kills before, but I've also done the daily 3k kills and not gotten a single one. It's kind of crazy to be honest.
It’s April 20th and I do get about 20 frags per wap reboot kronos
odium 5-10 an hr, shangrilah 15-25 an hr no frenzy, 250% drop
For reg server just take a break til they make grandis map frenzy able since fragment drop is more closly related to kill rate. I get tons of sol erda energy during daily fbm 😂
As a 277 reboot dawn warrior rolling with 352% drop rate getting 20 per hour is rare as fuck I’ve never gotten it and I’ve been 15 minutes and haven’t seen a single fragment. The variance of it is massive but on average I’d say I get 15 per H. Now on my DA that’s fresh 260 with about half of the drop rate it got 7 frags in like 15 minutes…….
Totally rng. The other day I get 36 in a Wap, total of 250 DR… I guess I went super lucky. Then every day, with same conditions as the 36 frags day I got like 15-20. In a “bad” day y got 10-15… so again; totally rng no matter %DR.
Yea im starting to think its random. When im on basic drop rate at 72% and im grinding for like 30 min i find alot.
But when i do a hour session and pop a drop rate up coupon and my rate is 242% i only get like 2 at most. Im starting to think somethings up i dont even waste my rate coupons
I get about 12-15 fragments an hour with 354% drop (359% with showdown)
But I'm also full clearing my maps in Odium. So kill rate I think matters a lot
Haven't even done 6th job lul, my interest in the game dropped significantly following the previous cap drama. I'll get around to doing it slowly though.

3 days ago I was getting about 15-20/hour with 314 drop rate. For some reason now I’m only getting 3-5/hour. Did the drop

I get 40 per hour with fz and 250-300 drop
All i have to say is the fragments are fine but the god damn energy blows ass
I get around 20-70 fragments per wap sitting at 409 drop rate.
some days its 7-10 per hour and some days just 1 .-. 210%drop

im not getting any fragments, since the update i got like sol and 800 fragment points, yeah, im not updating any of that content anytime soon. Wait there is a daily quest to obtain fragments coming in the future?
Daily quest has been here since it launched, at the bottom of the yellow bulb, erda request is the name I believe
yeah daily is erdas request, 600 soul erda energy and 12 fragments a day from 3000 mobs

The time commitment required to make meaningful progress is the reason MapleStory is a laughing stock for even hardcore Western gamers. The game will always be a meme outside of Asia until they make fundamental changes to its philosophy/direction.
