aran people were pissed, even though i think the remaster looks visually great i can see why aran people were pissed but shade looks awesome now and they fixed dmg with the rebalance so if you’re pissed at shade redux then you’re just a hater lol

I played Artale and man it just felt so different. Sure it took me back a bit, but playing regular Maplestory and Artale just feels different. It just amazed me about how Maplestory was and how much I forgot about it in the Wizet days. To me, they feel like two different MMOs. Idk why, but, . it just feels different. =3 I know I can never truly experience how it was when I started simply because the people I started playing with in Maplestory are no longer playing it. I think the "Relive the Old Maplestory" thing people were going on about, do not really miss the "Old Maple" but they just miss "Old Maple with the people they hung out with on the game". Just my opinion though. (=

Im glad I quit modern MS before sinking too much time into it lol. Was fun for the first few months when Reboot came out but the endless treadmill solo grind style of gameplay is not it. If you're thinking about playing the classic server on Maple Worlds, know that its janky and scuffed as hell. Might as well play Royals or Legends at that point. Hopefully someone will eventually make a good server on Worlds.

I think for sure the game has changed but I think its for the better I don't think MS can still have the same amount of people playing if it never gets updated to what it is now. I'm sure old MS will have a playerbase But just not to the same amount of reach it would have now.

there a saying in the Maplestory community you never really quit Maplestory I never understood what that meant after quiting for years then suddenly having the urge to play again LOL majority of us are puhsing 30+ we just wanna feel nostalgia playing Maplestory

I think its because people have or have tried to "solve" maplestory. People don't explore, experience other content, read text boxes, chat with each other, or just mess around anymore.

He's right maplestory does suck... If you're jimmy Modern maple is one of the greatest mmo experiences you could ever have and you literally dont need to put any money in. You get thousands upon thousands of hours of content for free! Thats what am mmo is supposed to be. The whole point of the game is exploration. Whether thats exploring maps, mobs, seeing all the kool unique designed gears The cooky quirky names of npcs and oddball questlines Theres no need to get a hit of the "old" dopamine hit when theres hundreds of different kinds new dopamines. Hitting lvl 200 on a new charcter always feels amazing. Upgrading your gear and seeing your cp go up. Getting free event nx to spruce up your characters. Rolling 2line gears and the random 3lines are like CRACK. Hitting 17 stars then 20 then 21. Finding a random piece of epic or unique gear from a drop and transfer hammering to higher hear for free lines. Finding someone with an anvil item and making friends with them and having them help yuu out with an anvil (okay that one needs nx but so what) Killing a new boss youve been struggling with Monster collection, free pets, upgrading your maple home All of these things make me feel happy af and i have 0 regrets playing this game Btw i hit lvl 50 assassin in artale and the og dopamine hit whoever you are been craving is 100% there Theres nothing about nostalgia that keeps me playing theres literally so much content that you just do not get from a modern 6 hour if that $70 game
