I'm only 35 almost 36 and my daddy had us grow up listening to Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, the list goes on and on! Everything was in good taste! My kids I taught them the same! Anthony Hamilton's rendition of this classic is both soulful n classy. I wouldn't expect nothing less of him. He goes at it straight forward with feeling and honesty, no trying to over sang it with vocal grace note exploitation. Did it just the way Sam did .... with soulful feeling and truth.
