The 1960s-1970s was the golden era of soul music. An explosion of creativity and originality. It will never happen again in history. It was another time and place. R Kelly has a nice voice. I'll leave it at that. No one could ever match the legendary singers of soul like Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Patti Labelle, Aretha Franklin, and others.

With all due respects, R Kelly & 99% of today's R&B artists would never of even gotten through the door at a record company and gotten a record deal in the 1960s-1970s. Unlike today, the standards were very high back then.Today everything is mediocre where you don't even have to really sing but just use auto tune.
